The 2007 Algerian Super Cup is the 6th edition of Algerian Super Cup, a football match contested by the winners of the Championnat National and 2006–07 Algerian Cup competitions. The match was scheduled to be played on 1 November 2007 at Stade 5 Juillet 1962 in Algiers between 2006-07 Championnat National winners ES Sétif and 2006–07 Algerian Cup winners MC Alger. Algerian Super Cup
The Algerian Super Cup ( ar, كأس الجزائر الممتازة), is an Algerian football competition, held as a game between the reigning champions of the Algerian League and the Algerian Cup. The first edition was held in 1973 and then again in 1981, 1992 and 1995 before being scrapped. The game returned in 2006 but would be scrapped again after the 2007 edition, returning once again in 2013. The current holders are CR Belouizdad, who beat USM Alger in the 2019 final, played in November 2020. MC Alger is the most successful club in the competition, having won the trophy three times. Abdelmoumene Djabou (born 31 January 1987) is an Algerian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for ES Sétif in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1. Abdelmalek Ziaya (born 23 January 1984) is an Algerian footballer who plays for Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 club USM Annaba. Career ES Sétif Ziaya was born in Guelma. He played regularly in ES Sétif's first team, and was a fixture in the club's 2006–07 Arab Champions League triumph, scoring a goal against Al-Ittihad in the second round and against Al-Nasr in the group stage. Farid Touil (born 10 December 1974 in Constantine) is an Algerian former footballer who played in the Algerian Championnat National.
