Group A of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup was one of four groups of nations competing at the 2007 AFC Asian Cup. 2007 AFC Asian Cup
The 2007 AFC Asian Cup was the 14th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were held from 7 to 29 July 2007. For the first time in its history, the competition was co-hosted by four countries in Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam; it was the first time in football history more than two countries joined host of a major continental competition and the only one to had ever taken place until the UEFA Euro 2020. Nattaporn Phanrit ( th, ณัฐพร พันธุ์ฤทธิ์, born January 11, 1982), simply known as Oat ( th, โอ๊ต), is a Thai retired professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Jassim Mohammed Ghulam Al Hamd ( ar, جاسم محمد غلام الحمد) (born March 11, 1979 in Baghdad, Iraq) is an Iraqi former professional footballer who last played for Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in Iraq. Noor Sabri Abbas Hasan Al-Baidawi ( ar, نور صبري عباس حسن البيداوي), simply known as Noor Sabri (born 6 June 1984 in Baghdad, Iraq) is an Iraqi professional goalkeeper. Charnwit Polcheewin ( th, ชาญวิทย์ ผลชีวิน) is a Thai football coach. He was the head coach of the Thailand national football team. Managerial career In club level, he brought Thai Farmers Bank to two consecutive AFC Champions League (then Asian Club Championship) titles in 1993–94 and 1994–95. Kiatisuk Senamuang ( th, เกียรติศักดิ์ เสนาเมือง; born 11 August 1973) is a Thai football manager and former footballer (played between 1989 and October 2007) who is manager of V.League 1 club Hoàng Anh Gia Lai.
