The 2006–2007 season was the 105th season of competitive football in Italy. Overview The look of Italian football in the first divisions took on major changes as a result of the 2006 Italian football scandal, Calciopoli scandal. It saw 29 time Serie A champions Juventus F.C., Juventus relegated from the top division to the second division Serie B for the first time in the club's history. ACF Fiorentina, Fiorentina and S.S. Pescara
Pescara (; nap, label= Abruzzese, Pescàrë; nap, label= Pescarese, Piscàrë) is the capital city of the Province of Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is the most populated city in Abruzzo, with 119,217 (2018) residents (and approximately 350,000 including the surrounding metropolitan area). Davide Ballardini
Davide Ballardini (born 6 January 1964) is an Italian football manager. He formerly played professionally for Cesena as a midfielder. He is currently the head coach of club Cremonese. Playing career A former midfielder, Ballardini spent seven years as a player with Cesena, under youth team coach Arrigo Sacchi and first team coach Osvaldo Bagnoli, which are often cited by him as his personal mentors. Coaching career Ballardini started his coaching career serving as youth team coach for Bologna, and successively Cesena and A.C. Milan. Delfino Pescara 1936, commonly referred to as Pescara, is a professional Italian football club based in Pescara, Abruzzo. The club was formed in 1936 and currently plays in Serie C. Moris Carrozzieri (born 16 November 1980) is an Italian football defender. Club career Early career Carrozzieri started his professional career at A.S. Bari. He was loaned to Andria and Giulianova (both at Serie C1) and then to Martina and Teramo (both at Serie C2). He help Teramo gain promotion to Serie C1 in summer 2002, and the club bought half of the registration rights of the player. In summer 2003, Carrozzieri was sold to newly promoted team Sampdoria, by Teramo bought Bari's half and re-sold to the Genoese club. Francesco Flachi
Francesco Flachi (born 8 April 1975) is an Italian former professional footballer, currently playing for Promozione amateurs Praese. A striker, during an 18-year professional career in which he amassed Serie A totals of 137 games and 42 goals, he played mainly with Sampdoria. He was also suspended twice for doping. Luca Pancalli
Luca Pancalli (born 16 April 1964) is an Italian sports manager and former swimmer. He is currently the Commissioner of the Italian Football Federation. Biography After having won a national youth modern pentathlon championship, Pancalli became a quadriplegic in 1981 following a tumble from a horse during an international race in Austria. Despite this, he was still able to partially move his arms and took part in four different editions of the Paralympic Games from 1984 to 1996, winning eight gold, six silver, and one bronze medal in swimming. Guido Rossi (16 March 1931 – 21 August 2017) was an Italian jurist, lawyer, and politician. Biography Rossi was born in Milan on 16 March 1931. He studied at the Ghislieri College from 1948 to 1953, and graduated in law from the University of Pavia. In 1954, he obtained a Master of Laws at Harvard University. Alberto Zaccheroni
Alberto Zaccheroni (; born 1 April 1953) is an Italian football manager, formerly in charge of the United Arab Emirates and Japan national football teams. He has managed a number of top clubs in Serie A, the high point of his career being his stint as manager of A.C.
