2006–07 WNBL Season
The 2006–07 WNBL season was the 27th season of competition since its establishment in 1981. A total of 8 teams contested the league. The regular season was played between October 2006 and March 2007, followed by a post-season involving the top five in March 2007. Broadcast rights were held by free-to-air network ABC. ABC broadcast one game a week, at 1:00PM at every standard time in Australia. Molten provided equipment including the official game ball, with Hoop2Hoop supplying team apparel. Women's National Basketball League
The Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) is the pre-eminent professional women's basketball league in Australia. It is currently composed of eight teams. The league was founded in 1981 and is the women's counterpart to the National Basketball League (NBL). Several WNBL teams have NBL counterparts. The Adelaide Lightning, Melbourne Boomers, Perth Lynx, Southside Flyers and Sydney Uni Flames are the current WNBL teams sharing a market with an NBL team (the Townsville Fire and University of Canberra Capitals shared a market with the Townsville Crocodiles and Canberra Cannons respectively, before both NBL clubs became defunct). The current league champions are the Melbourne Boomers, who won their second title in 2022. WNBL Rookie Of The Year Award
The WNBL Youth Player of the Year (formerly the WNBL Rookie of the Year Award) is an annual Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) award given since the 1988 WNBL season. The award underwent a makeover in the 2019–20 season with new criteria seeing Australian players 23 years old or under eligible for Youth Player of the Year, replacing the long-standing Rookie of the Year. Women's National Basketball League Seasons

Kathleen MacLeod
Kathleen MacLeod (born 23 October 1986) is an Australian basketball player who was part of the Australian team that won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Personal MacLeod is from Melbourne. She has four siblings, two brothers and two sisters. She is tall. Basketball MacLeod is a guard. As a competitor at the 2005 Australian Under-20 national championships, she won the Bob Staunton Award. She played junior basketball for the Victorian-based Nunawading Spectres. She played basketball in Hungary in 2008/2009 and France in 2009/2010. WNBL MacLeod had a scholarship with the Australian Institute of Sport in 2003 and 2004, and was a member of their team during the 2003/2004 and in 2004/2005 seasons. Jennifer Crouse
Jennifer Crouse (born May 23, 1977) is an American retired professional basketball player. Career College In college, Crouse attended University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota, playing for the Fighting Sioux ('It was controversially named Fighting Sioux at the time'') in NCAA Division II. Whilst completing her degree in 2001, Crouse would remain on board as the Assistant Coach of the UND Women's basketball team. Until she decided to pursue her professional career in Australia. Erin Phillips
Erin Victoria Phillips (born 19 May 1985) is an Australian rules footballer for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition, a radio host, and a former professional basketball player. She played nine seasons in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) for five different teams and is a two-time WNBA champion. WNBL Top Shooter Award
The WNBL Leading Scorer Award is an annual Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) statistical award given since the 1981 WNBL season. The Leading Scorer is determined by the player with the highest average points per game, throughout the regular season. To be eligible, players must have played in at least 50% of games played in the season. From 1981 to 2020, this award was previously known as the ''Top Shooter Award''. Carrie Graf
Carrie Ann Graf (born 23 June 1967) is an Australian basketball coach. She competed in the WNBL as a player starting during 1983–1989, after which she attended RMIT. Graf has coached teams in the WNBL, WNBA and Australia's national team, and has been honoured for her contribution to basketball coaching. Personal After having earned a diploma of coaching from the Australian Coaching Council in 1991, Graf attended RMIT in Melbourne, Victoria, where she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physical Education in 1992. She has several hobbies including listening to music and cooking. Player Graff started her professional basketball career as a 15-year-old with the Nunawading Spectres in the WNBL.
