2006–07 Texas Longhorns Men's Basketball Team
The 2006–07 Texas Longhorns men's basketball team represented The University of Texas at Austin in NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball competition as a member of the Big 12 Conference. The 2006–07 team posted a 25–10 record, finished in third place in the Big 12, and reached the second round of the 2007 NCAA tournament. Forward Kevin Durant received unanimous recognition as the National Player of the Year in 2007 as a true freshman; Durant was the first freshman ever to win any of the national player of the year awards. Dexter Pittman
Dexter Jerome Pittman (born March 2, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Al-Qurain SC of the Kuwaiti Division I Basketball League. He played college basketball for the University of Texas. High school career Pittman was a three-year starter at B. F. Terry High School, where he averaged 15 points and 8.5 rebounds per game over his career. In his senior season, he was named the Most Valuable Player for District 24-4A. Considered a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, Pittman was listed as the No. 16 center and the No. 150 player in the nation in 2006. Nicholls State University is a public university in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Founded in 1948, Nicholls is part of the University of Louisiana System. Originally named Francis T. The Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Michigan State University. The school competes in the Big Ten Conference of NCAA Division I college basketball. The Spartans have won two NCAA championships and 16 Big Ten Championships. Chicago State University
