2006–07 Montenegrin Cup
The 2006–07 Montenegrin Cup was the first season of the Montenegrin knockout football tournament since Montenegro achieved independence. The winner of the tournament received a berth in the first qualifying round of the 2007–08 UEFA Cup. The competition featured 30 teams. It started on 3 October 2006 and ended with the on 30 May 2007. The first winner of the competition was Rudar, who beat Sutjeska in the final. First round Last Republic Cup's finalists was received a bye to the Second Round. The remaining 14 matches were played on 3 and 4 October 2006. FK Rudar Pljevlja
FK Rudar Pljevlja, commonly known as Rudar Pljevlja or simply Rudar, is a football club based in Pljevlja, Montenegro. It currently plays in the Montenegrin First League, the country's highest tier. Rudar have played in the First League since its inception in 2006, and won two league titles in 2009–10 and 2014–15. The club have been the strongest in the Montenegrin Cup, with three triumphs, one runner-up position and two semi-final finishes in the tournament's six seasons. History Rudar (''Miner'') was founded in 1920 as ''Breznik'', renaming itself ''Sandžak'' three years later. The team was aided by members of the 48th Infantry Regiment, who stationed in the town. FK Mogren
FK Mogren was a football club based in Budva, Montenegro. Founded in 1920, it was two times champion of Montenegrin First League and once winner of Montenegrin Cup. In 2015, following the bankruptcy and debts, FK Mogren was relegated to the lowest-rank competition of football in Montenegro. In March 2017, FK Mogren was expelled from South region of the Third Montenegrin league. Mogren was extiguinshed in 2017. FK Bratstvo is a Montenegrin football club based in Ljajkovići (Zeta Plain), a suburb of Podgorica. The club was founded in 1975 and currently competes in the Montenegrin Third League. Fudbalski klub Zora (English: Football Club Zora) is a Montenegrin football club based in Spuž, Danilovgrad Municipality. They currently compete in the Montenegrin Third League. History Founded in 1922, FK Zora played only non-league matches before World War II. Fudbalski klub Iskra (English: Football Club Iskra) is a Montenegrin football club based in Danilovgrad. They currently compete in the Montenegrin First League. History FK Iskra was founded in 1919, under the name ''RSK Sloga Danilovgrad''. OFK Petrovac is a football club based in Petrovac, Montenegro. They currently compete in the First League of Montenegro. History OFK Petrovac was founded in 1969, under the name ''FK Nafta''. During the first season, they played in the lowest-tier competition - Fourth League - South. FK Jezero is a Montenegrin football club based in the town of Plav. Established at 1934, the club plays in the First League of Montenegro. Fudbalski klub Lovćen is a football club based in Cetinje, Montenegro. It was founded on 20 June 1913. It was named after Mount Lovćen near Cetinje. FK Zeta is a football club from Golubovci, a suburb of Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. It plays in the Montenegrin Second League.
