Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC; ), established in 1886, is a private members' club in Hong Kong. The name reflects the origin as a club for playing association football and rugby. Godfred Karikari (; born 11 March 1985) is a former professional footballer. Born in Ghana, he represented Hong Kong at international level. Early life Karikari was born to an affluent family in Ghana. He was a fast runner in his youth and was invited to join the school's track and field team, but he chose to play football instead. He was introduced to Hong Kong football by his manager and has not returned to Ghana since. Lo Kwan Yee (, born 9 October 1984) is a Hong Kong professional footballer who currently plays for Hong Kong Premier League club Rangers. Lo has represented Hong Kong at international level at various age groups, making his debut with the senior national team in 2007.
