Idol 2005 (Sweden)
The second season of Swedish Idol premiered in August 2005 and continued until its grand finale on 2 December, when 17-year-old Agnes Carlsson from Vänersborg was crowned winner. The series was the first to crown a female ''Idol'' and is to date the sole season to be won by either a public or judges' wildcard contestant. Of the over 120 ''Idol'' winners worldwide, Carlsson is one of only three who gained a place in the finals as a judges' wildcard. The others are 2003 Canadian Idol winner Ryan Malcolm and 2007 Australian Idol winner Natalie Gauci. Carlsson has since become the most successful recording artist in the show's history. Idol (Swedish TV Series)
''Idol'' is a Sweden, Swedish reality-competition talent show broadcast on TV4 (Sweden), TV4. It first appeared in August 2004, and became one of the most popular shows on Swedish television. Part of the Idols (TV series), ''Idols'' franchise, it originated from the reality program ''Pop Idol'' created by British people, British entertainment executive Simon Fuller, which was first aired in 2001 in the United Kingdom. The program seeks to discover the best singer in Sweden through a series of nationwide auditions. The outcomes of the later stages of the competition are determined by public phone voting. The format features three judges who give critiques of the contestants' performances. Since ''Idol'' started in 2004, the show has featured five different line-ups of judges, a total of nine different judges, as well as twelve different presenters (including sidekicks in 2011 and 2013). Måns Zelmerlöw
Måns Petter Albert Sahlén Zelmerlöw (; born 13 June 1986) is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and television presenter. He took part in '' Idol 2005'', eventually finishing fifth, won the first season of '' Let's Dance,'' and scored a hit with his 2007 song "Cara Mia", which was his entry in that year's Melodifestivalen. Zelmerlöw was the host of ''Allsång på Skansen'' from 2011 to 2013. He participated in Melodifestivalen in 2007, 2009 and won in 2015. Zelmerlöw represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Heroes", winning the contest with 365 points. Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 held in Stockholm. Big Brother (Sweden And Norway)
The Sweden and Norway joint edition of ''Big Brother'' is a reality show shown on Kanal 5 in Sweden, and FEM in Norway, in which a number of contestants live in an isolated house trying to avoid being evicted by the public with the aim of winning a large cash prize at the end of the run. It is based on the '' Big Brother'' series produced by Endemol. From 2000 on, seasons of Big Brother were shown in both Norway and Sweden and in both countries the show enjoyed very high ratings, so high that eventually the production teams of both began thinking about joining to make one Big Brother show for both countries. Markus Fagervall
Markus Eino Fagervall (born 5 October 1982 in Kiruna, Norrbotten County) won Idol 2006, the third season of the Swedish version of Pop Idol. Fagervall beat Erik Segerstedt on 1 December 2006 to take the title. His first single "Everything Changes" peaked at number one on the Swedish Singles Chart. His debut album, ''Echo Heart'', was released on 18 December the same year and has to date been certified double platinum. Prior to winning Idol, Markus was the vocalist in the progressive rock band, Liquid Scarlet. In 2008, Fagervall was a contestant in the Swedish version of Dancing on Ice, hosted by Carolina Gynning and Carina Berg. The third season of '' Idol'' premiered in Sweden on August 29, 2006, and continued until its grand finale on December 1, when 24-year-old Markus Fagervall from Övertorneå was crowned winner. ''LasseMajas detektivbyrÃ¥'' ("''LasseMaja's Detective Agency''") was the 2006 '' SVT Christmas calendar'' broadcast 1–24 December 2006 in Sveriges Television. The TV series, which was based on the book series ''LasseMajas detektivbyrÃ¥'' by Martin Widmark and Helena Willis, takes place in Lasse's and Maja's home town Valleby. It was recorded in Sveriges Television studios during the spring of 2006. Characters Lasse and Maja Lasse and Maja, played by Teodor Runsiö and Matilda Grahn, are 2 of the 3 main characters. They are two ~10 years old detectives who have known each other since they were small, and they have an own detective agency called ''LasseMajas detektivbyrÃ¥'' where they look at proofs etc. and they help the Policemaster of Valleby.
