2006 UEFA European Under-17 Championship
The 2006 UEFA European Under-17 Championship was the fifth edition of UEFA's European Under-17 Football Championship. Luxembourg hosted the championship, during 3–14 May. Russia defeated the Czech Republic in the final to win the competition for the first time. Players born after 1 January 1989 could participate in this competition. Manuel Fischer
Manuel Fischer (born 19 September 1989) is a German retired footballer who played as a striker. Career Fischer began his career with VfB Stuttgart. He appeared for the club's reserve side in the Regionalliga Süd. He made his professional debut on 12 December 2007 against FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League. Fischer set a record for the greatest number of goals scored in an international under-17 season in 2005–06 with a total of 13. The then 19-year-old scored his first Bundesliga goal on 17 May 2008 in the last game of the 2007–08 season. On 4 July 2008, he extended his contract until the summer of 2011. On 6 January 2009, Fischer was loaned out to TuS Koblenz until the end of the season. Estonian Football Association
The Estonian Football Association (EJL; et, Eesti Jalgpalli Liit) is the governing body of football, beach soccer and futsal in Estonia, established on 14 December 1921. It organizes the football league, including the championship which is called Meistriliiga, Estonian Cup and the Estonian national football team. It is based in Tallinn. EJL became a member of FIFA in 1923, but following Estonia's annexation by the Soviet Union it was disbanded. It became a member again in 1992 after Estonia reinstated its independence. Hesperange (; lb, Hesper ; german: Hesperingen) is a commune and town in southern Luxembourg. It is located south-east of Luxembourg City. The total population of the commune is 14.701 people. This breaks down into 6.909 Luxembourgers, 2.021 French, 1.758 Portuguese, 1.052 Italians, 627 Belgians, 514 Germans, 241 Spanish, 207 British, 190 Polish, 106 Dutch, and 1.076 persons of other nationalities. José Manuel Hermosa Melis (born 23 April 1989) is a Spanish footballer who plays for CF La Nucía. Mainly a left back, he can also appear as a left midfielder. Football career Born in Villajoyosa, Alicante, Valencia, Hermosa was a product of Villarreal CF's youth system, and made senior debuts with the C-team in the 2007–08 campaign, in Tercera División. Miralem Pjanić (born 2 April 1990) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for UAE Pro League club Sharjah and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Pjanić started his professional career at Metz being there for one season. He signed for side Lyon in 2008 before signing for Roma in 2011 after three seasons at Lyon. Mondorf-les-Bains ( ; ) is a commune and town in south-eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Remich.
