2006 Taça De Portugal Final
The 2006 Taça de Portugal Final was the final match of the 2005–06 Taça de Portugal, the 66th season of the Taça de Portugal, the premier Portuguese football cup competition organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The match was played on 14 May 2006 at the Estádio Nacional in Oeiras, and opposed two Primeira Liga sides: Porto and Vitória de Setúbal. Porto defeated Vitória 1–0 thanks to a second-half strike from Brazilian striker Adriano, which would claim Porto a 13th Taça de Portugal. In Portugal, the final was televised live on RTP and Sport TV. As Porto claimed both league and cup double in the same season, cup runners-up Vitória de Setúbal faced their cup final opponents in the 2006 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira at the Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa in Leiria. 2005–06 Taça De Portugal
The 2005–06 Taça de Portugal was the 66th edition of the Portuguese football knockout tournament, organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The 2005–06 Taça de Portugal began on 4 September 2005. The final was played on 14 May 2006 at the Estádio Nacional. Vitória F.C., Vitória de Setúbal were the previous holders, having defeated S.L. Benfica, Benfica 2–1, in the previous season's final. However, Vitória de Setúbal was not able to regain their title as they were defeated in the final by Porto. Porto defeated Vitória de Setúbal, 1–0 to win their fourth title in seven seasons and claim their 13th Taça de Portugal in their history. The 2006 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira was the 28th edition of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, the annual Portugal, Portuguese association football, football season-opening match contested by the winners of the previous season's top Primeira Liga, league and Taça de Portugal, cup competitions (or cup runner-up in case the league- and cup-winning club is the same). Ricardo Andrade Quaresma Bernardo (; born 26 September 1983) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a winger.
