2006 Supercoppa Italiana
The 2006 Supercoppa Italiana was a match contested by the 2005–06 Serie A winners Internazionale and the 2005–06 Coppa Italia runners-up Roma. While Juventus were originally the first-placed team in Serie A, the title was put ''sub judice'' due to their involvement in the ''Calciopoli'' scandal, with Internazionale instead declared champions by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) on 26 July 2006. The Supercoppa Italiana ( en, Italian Super Cup) is an annual football match contested by the winners of the Serie A and the Coppa Italia in the previous season. If the same team wins both the Serie A and Coppa Italia titles in the previous season, the Supercoppa is contested by the Serie A winner and the Coppa Italia runner-up, in essence becoming a rematch of the previous year's Coppa Italia final. Originally, it was scheduled in the summer as a curtain-raiser to the new season, played in the home stadium of the Serie A champion. Adriano (footballer, Born February 1982)
Adriano Leite Ribeiro (born February 17, 1982), commonly known simply as Adriano, is a Brazilian former professional footballer. He played as a striker and was known for his long range left footed strikes. Adriano had four prolific seasons in Italy with Italian clubs Parma and Inter Milan, being considered one of the best strikers in the world during this time and earning the nickname "''L'Imperatore'' (the Emperor)". Fabio Grosso (; born 28 November 1977) is an Italian former professional footballer and current manager of Frosinone Calcio.
