The Pan American Judo Championships are continental judo Championships organized by the Pan American Judo Confederation since 2009. Previous championships were organized by the Panamerican Judo Union. From 2022 they are renamed to Pan American-Oceania Judo Championships. Rodrigo Lucenti
Daniel Rodrigo Lucenti (born May 10, 1978 in San Martín, Santa Fe) is an Argentine judoka, who competed in the men's lightweight category. He held a 2002 Argentine senior title for his own division, picked up a total of eight medals in his career, including two from the Pan American Judo Championships, and also competed with his brother Emmanuel Lucenti for the Argentine judo squad at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Lucenti qualified for the Argentine squad in the men's lightweight class (73 kg) at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by placing third and receiving a berth from the Pan American Championships in Margarita Island, Venezuela. He lost his opening match to U.S. judoka and eventual bronze medalist Jimmy Pedro, who successfully scored an ippon and gripped him with a yoko shiho gatame is one of the seven mat holds, Osaekomi-waza, of Kodokan Judo. Teófilo Antonio Diek Andon (born December 13, 1987) is a Dominican judoka, who played for the half-heavyweight category. He won the bronze medal for the same division at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. José Gregorio Camacho Lascarro (born April 26, 1983 in Barinas) is a Venezuelan judoka, who played for the middleweight category. He is a two-time Olympian, a three-time medalist at the Pan American Judo Championships, and a bronze medalist for his division at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Aaron Cohen (born September 28, 1981) is an American former judoka. He was a 5-time US national champion (2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2009), and earned a silver medal in the 2008 US Olympic trials. Emmanuel "Emma" Lucenti (born 23 November 1984) is a judoka from Argentina. He competed at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's half-middleweight (-81 kg). At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he lost in second round to Euan Burton. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he reached the quarter-finals, where he lost to Kim Jae-bum.
