Liga Asobal is the premier professional handball league in Spain. It was founded in 1958 with the name of División de Honor, changing its name to the current name in 1990. Abanca Ademar León is a Spanish handball team based in León, Spain. It plays in Liga ASOBAL. History Founded in 1956, Ademar León is the handball team of the city of León. Until 1975 it played in the provincial categories when not existing economic availability to be able to promotion. Club Balonmano Granollers, commonly known as BM Granollers, is a handball club based in Granollers, Spain. History The club was founded in 1944 and it is one of the oldest and most successful Spanish handball clubs in terms of titles won.
