The 2005–06 Austrian Football First League season was the 32nd season of second level league football in Austria. It was the fourth season that it used the name Red Zac First League. Austrian Football First League
The Austrian Football Second League (german: 2. Liga) is the second-highest professional division in Austrian football. It was formerly called the First League (''Erste Liga''), from 2002 to 2018. The division currently contains 16 teams, and the champion of the league is promoted to the Austrian Bundesliga. The three last placed teams are directly relegated from the Second League into the regional leagues. The Austrian Football Second Bundesliga is currently known as ''HPYBET 2. liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The 2006–07 Austrian Football Bundesliga was the 95th season of top-tier football in Austria. The competition is officially called ''T-Mobile Bundesliga'', named after the Austrian branch of German mobile phone company T-Mobile. Linzer Stadion
Linzer Stadion was a multi-purpose stadium, in Linz, Austria. Originally built in 1952, the stadium was last modified in 2012 and now has a capacity of 21,005. The 2012 modifications included the installation of rail seats for safe standing. The stadium was opened on 28 July 1952, on the grounds of the former Froschberg-Brickworks. The stadium is also known as "Auf der Gugl", the name of the hill on which it is situated. It was used for football matches and hosted most matches of FC Blau-Weiß Linz and the top matches of LASK Linz. In July 2020, LASK presented their plans to build a new stadium on the site of the old stadium, in which the groundbreaking should take place in early 2021. Linzer Athletik-Sport-Klub, commonly known as Linzer ASK () or simply LASK, is an Austrian professional football club, from the Upper-Austrian state capital Linz. It is the oldest football club in that region, and plays in the Austrian Football Bundesliga, the top tier of Austrian football. The club's colours are black and white.
