Levi Heimans
Levi Heimans (born 24 July 1985 in Diemen, North Holland) is a Dutch track cyclist. Heimans represented the Netherlands at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens where he took part in the 4 km team pursuit together with Jens Mouris, Peter Schep and Jeroen Straathof. They ended up in fifth position. He was also qualified for the individual pursuit but decided to focus totally on the team effort and did not start in that race. He competed in the same event at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing 5th again and then 7th. Stephen Wooldridge
Stephen Brian Wooldridge (17 October 1977 – 14 August 2017) was an Australian racing cyclist, an Olympic and four-time world champion on the track. He was born in Sydney. He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. In 2005, Wooldridge was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to sport as a gold medallist at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He was inducted into the NSW Hall of Champions in 2015. Wooldridge committed suicide on 14 August 2017 at the age of 39. The method was not made public. Mark Jamieson
Mark Ian Jamieson (born 4 May 1984, in Dandenong) is an Australian professional racing cyclist. He started competing at the age of 10 in 1994, he first represented his country in the World Junior Track Championships in 2001. He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. He had a successful track career, including a world championship in the team pursuit in 2006, and fourth in the Beijing Olympics as a member of the Australian Team Pursuit Squad On 15 February 2010 Jamieson appeared before the South Australian District Court on multiple child sex charges and pleaded guilty to four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl and one count of indecent assault with a girl aged under 16. The charges related to alleged conduct in Adelaide between November 2008 and January 2009. He received a suspended sentence for the offences. Matthew Goss
Matthew Harley Goss (born 5 November 1986) is a former Australian professional road and track racing cyclist, his final professional team before retirement was the UCI Professional Continental team . He first competed in track cycling before making a transition to the road. He earned a gold medal at the 2006 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in the Team Pursuit event and came in second place at the 2011 World Championships Road race. He also won the 2010 GP Ouest-France, the 2011 Milan–San Remo as well as 2 stages of the Giro d'Italia, among other victories. Niki Terpstra
Niki Terpstra (; born 18 May 1984) is a Dutch racing cyclist, who rides for UCI ProTeam . He is the brother of fellow racing cyclist Mike Terpstra. He is the third Dutch cyclist to have won both of the cobbled Monument spring classics, Paris–Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders, after Jan Raas and Hennie Kuiper. Pieter Otto ("Peter") Schep (born 8 March 1977 in Lopik, Utrecht (province), Utrecht) is a Dutch former racing cyclist, who specialized in track cycling endurance events. Biography Born in Lopik, Schep represented the Netherlands at the 1996 Summer Olympics, 1996, 2000 Summer Olympics, 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. In all three occasions he took part in the team pursuit. In 1996 he featured in a team with Jarich Bakker, Richard Rozendaal and Robert Slippens and finished in 12th position. A new team with Slippens, John den Braber, Jens Mouris and Wilco Zuijderwijk was created with success. The team improved their 2000 effort and reached the quarter finals where they were lapped by the team from the Ukraine, resulting in a seventh place overall. Jens Mouris (born 12 March 1980) is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist. Born in Amsterdam, Mouris represented the Netherlands at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney where he took part in the team pursuit together with John den Braber, Robert Slippens and Wilco Zuijderwijk. They ended up in seventh position after being lapped by Ukraine in the quarter finals. Four years later Mouris qualified for the same disciplines to participate in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Rob Hayles
Robert John Hayles (born 21 January 1973) is a former track and road racing cyclist, who rode for Great Britain and England on the track and several professional teams on the road. Hayles competed in the team pursuit and Madison events, until his retirement in 2011. He now occasionally provides studio-based analysis of cycle races for British Eurosport. Career He first represented Great Britain in the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, where he rode the team pursuit. Hayles represented England in the points race and team pursuit at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. At the 2000 Summer Olympics, he won silver in the individual pursuit. He was a member of the pursuit team that came third, and rode the Madison with Bradley Wiggins, finishing fourth. From 2001 to 2003 Hayles rode for the team in France. Paul Christian Manning, (born 6 November 1974, Sutton Coldfield) is a former English professional track and road bicycle racer who rode for the UCI Professional Continental team Landbouwkrediet-Tönissteiner in 2007 and 2008. He is strong in the Individual and Team Pursuit disciplines on track and has won many medals for Britain in the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Track World Championships and Track World Cups. He was the British national individual pursuit champion in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005. He was also the national points race champion in 2005. On 17 August 2008, Manning was a member of the Olympic team pursuit squad which broke the world record in the heats with a time of 3:55:202, beating their Russian opponents comfortably to go through to the final ride-off for silver and gold.
