South Africa National Rugby Union Team
The South Africa national rugby union team, commonly known as the Springboks (colloquially the Boks, Bokke or Amabokoboko), is the country's national team governed by the South African Rugby Union. The Springboks play in green and gold jerseys, with white shorts and their emblem is a native antelope, the Springbok, which is the national animal of South Africa. De Wet Barry (born 24 June 1978 in Ceres, Western Cape) is a South African former rugby union footballer who played 38 test matches for the South Africa (the Springboks). In 2000, Barry made his Springbok debut against Canada in East London. Barry had a reputation as a brutal defender and hard, straight running centre, this saw him become a key member of the Springbok squad in 2004. The José Amalfitani Stadium is a stadium located in the Liniers neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, near Liniers railway station. The venue is the home of the Argentine Primera División club Vélez Sarsfield and is also known as ''El Fortín de Liniers'' or ''Vélez Sarsfield''. The stadium was named after José Amalfitani, who was president of Vélez Sarsfield for 30 years. The original, temporary stadium was built between 1941 and 1943 in wood, and the current facility was built in cement between 1947 and 1951. Conrad Alcon Jantjes (born 24 March 1980 in Boksburg, Gauteng) is a South African rugby union footballer who used to play primarily as a fullback for the Springboks in international rugby and the Stormers in Super Rugby. Bryan Gary Habana OIS (born 12 June 1983) is a South African former professional rugby union player who initially played as an outside centre but later on, he shifted to the wing. He most recently played for Toulon in the French Top 14 competition, and for the South Africa national team (the Springboks).
