2005 Miami Dolphins Season
The 2005 Miami Dolphins season was the franchise’s 40th overall, the 36th as a member of the National Football League. The Dolphins managed to improve upon their previous season’s output of 4–12, posting a winning record of 9–7. They finished the season on a six-game win streak and ended their season with an upset over the defending back-to-back Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, the Dolphins' second straight year beating them as defending champions. Bobby Williams
Robert Vann Williams (born November 21, 1958) is an American football coach who most recently served as the special teams coordinator and tight ends coach at the University of Oregon from 2018 to 2021. Williams served as the head coach at Michigan State University from 1999 to 2002. Playing career During his time at Purdue University, between 1978 and 1982, Williams was a four-year letterman for the Boilermakers football team and a captain in his senior season. Dameyune Craig
Dameyune Vashon Craig (born April 19, 1974) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the Quarterbacks coach at the Texas A&M University. Craig played professionally as quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons with the Carolina Panthers. Early years Craig played high school football for Mattie T. Blount High School in Prichard, Alabama, near Mobile. He helped lead his team to two state championships in 1990 and 1992. Keith Armstrong (American Football)
Keith Armstrong (born December 15, 1963) is an American football coach who is the special teams coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). Armstrong has over two decades of professional coaching experience. He played college football at Temple. On December 31, 2012, NFL.com reported that Armstrong was expected to be interviewed by the Chicago Bears for the head coaching position after Lovie Smith's firing. Glenn Pires
Glenn M. Pires (born 1958) is an American football coach. Early life Pires was born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He attended school locally, where he became a three-year letter winner in both football and track. He also played in the football team as an offensive guard and linebacker and was selected for several postseason all-star teams. He later played football for Springfield College, where he became a two-year NCAA Division II All-ECAC and All-New England selection. In the track and field teams at New Bedford High and Springfield College, Pires mostly competed in the field events. He was a Southeastern Massachusetts Conference champion in both the shot put and discus in addition to being a Class A and All State finalist in the discus. Melvin Phillips (born January 6, 1942), is a former American professional football player who played his entire 12-year NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers. Travis Jones (born June 6, 1972) is a former American football player and former assistant coach. He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs from 1990 to 1992 and 1994 and professional football for the Baltimore Stallions of the Canadian Football League in 1995 and the Florida Bobcats of the Arena Football League in 1996. Dan Quinn (American Football)
Daniel Patrick Quinn (born September 11, 1970) is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He came to prominence as the defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks from 2013 to 2014, where he was the playcaller for the team's Legion of Boom secondary. Under Quinn, Seattle led the league in defense and made two consecutive Super Bowl appearances, winning the franchise's first in Super Bowl XLVIII. This success led to Quinn being named head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, where he served for six seasons. James Coley
James Coley (born April 14, 1973) is an American football coach who is currently the Wide Receivers coach at Texas A&M University. He was previously the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Georgia Coley, a Miami native who played quarterback at Miami Senior High School and worked in the National Football League (NFL) as an offensive assistant and quality control coach with the Miami Dolphins, has coached some of the top talent in college football at the high school, college and pro levels. Judd Garrett
Judd Garrett (born June 25, 1967) is a former American football running back in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He also was a member of the Las Vegas Posse in the Canadian Football League and the London Monarchs in the World League of American Football. He played college football at Princeton University.
