2005 Football League Play-offs
The Football League play-offs for the 2004–05 season were held in May 2005, with the finals taking place at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. The play-off semi-finals were played over two legs and were contested by the teams who finished in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th place in the Football League Championship and League One and the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th placed teams in the League Two table. The winners of the semi-finals progressed to the finals, with the winner of the matches gaining promotion for the following season. Football League Play-offs

David Nugent
David James Nugent (born 2 May 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker and is currently a free agent after leaving Preston North End. He started his career in 2002 when he signed his first professional contract with Bury. He left the club in 2005, when he joined Preston North End for two seasons. Nugent joined Portsmouth in 2007, and later joined Burnley for the 2009–10 season, before returning to Portsmouth for one final season in 2010. Uriah Rennie
Uriah Rennie (born 23 October 1959 in Sheffield, England) is a retired top level English Football (soccer), football Referee (association football), referee. He was the first black referee to officiate in games of the Premier League. Career Rennie began refereeing in 1979 in local leagues, then operated in the Northern Premier League until 1994, at which time he was appointed to the Football League List of referees. He was given his first Premier League, Premiership appointment on 23 August 1997, a game between Leeds United F.C., Leeds United and Crystal Palace F.C., Crystal Palace at Elland Road. The Boleyn Ground, often referred to as Upton Park, was a football stadium located in Upton Park, east London. It was the home of West Ham United from 1904 to 2016, and was briefly used by Charlton Athletic in the early 1990s during their years of financial difficulty. Shefki Kuqi (pronounced ; born 10 November 1976) is a Finnish former professional footballer who played predominantly as a striker.
