The 2004–05 Segunda Divisão season was the 71st season of the competition and the 55th season of recognised third-tier football in Portugal. Overview The league was contested by 59 teams in 3 divisions with SC Covilhã, FC Vizela and FC Barreirense winning the respective divisional competitions and gaining promotion to the Liga de Honra. Segunda Divisão
The Segunda Divisão Portuguesa (English language, English: ''Portuguese Second Division'') was a association football, football league situated at the third level of the Portuguese football league system. The division had previously been the second level of the Portuguese pyramid but, with the creation of the Segunda Liga in 1990–91, it became the third level. The competition merged with the Terceira Divisão at the end of the 2012–13 to form a new enlarged third level league, the Campeonato Nacional de Seniores. Format In its last season, the league was split into three zonal divisions: Norte (North), Centro (Centre) and Sul (South). Each division was made up of 16 teams. The winners of each division were promoted. Clube Desportivo Mafra is a Portuguese football club, currently playing in the Liga Bwin. They are based in the town of Mafra and own Campo Doutor Mário Silveira stadium, but the games are played in Estádio Municipal de Mafra. The Terceira Divisão Portuguesa (in English: ''Portuguese Third Division'') was a football league in Portugal, situated at the fourth level of the Portuguese football league system.
