Philips Sport Vereniging (; en, Philips Sports Association ), abbreviated as PSV and internationally known as PSV Eindhoven (), is a Dutch sports club from Eindhoven, Netherlands. It is best known for its professional football department, which has played in the Eredivisie, the top tier in Dutch football, since its inception in 1956. Along with Ajax and Feyenoord, PSV is one of the country's " big three" clubs that have dominated the Eredivisie. The club was founded in 1913 as a team for Philips employees. PSV's history contains two golden eras revolving around the UEFA Cup victory in 1978 and the 1987–88 European Cup victory as part of the seasonal treble in 1988. The team has won the Eredivisie 24 times, the KNVB Cup ten times and the Johan Cruyff Shield a record of twelve times. Wilfred Bouma
Wilfred Bouma (; born 15 June 1978) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played most notably for PSV Eindhoven, Aston Villa and the Netherlands national team. Club career Early career Born in Helmond, North Brabant, Bouma started his career at amateur club SV Rood-Wit '62 before joining PSV on a youth contract in 1994. The PSV head coach at the time, Aad de Mos handed him his professional debut against Willem II on 26 October 1994 which his team lost 2–1. Eduard Andreas Dominicus Hendricus Jozef "Edwin" Zoetebier (; born 7 May 1970) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Zoetebier was born in Purmerend, North Holland. He started his professional career in the 1988–89 season playing for FC Volendam. He later served Sunderland, Feyenoord, Vitesse Arnhem, PSV Eindhoven and NAC Breda. Zoetebier signed for Sunderland in the summer of 1997 as back up to Lionel Pérez. However, he left in January 1998 having made just two appearances for the club (both in the League Cup). His career highlight was being the starting goalkeeper for Feyenoord in the 2002 UEFA Cup Final against Borussia Dortmund as the Dutch club won 3–2. Michael Lamey
Michael Lamey (born 29 November 1979) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a right back. Playing career Born in Amsterdam, Lamey began his professional career with RKC Waalwijk, before making moves to PSV Eindhoven, MSV Duisburg and Arminia Bielefeld. After his transfer from PSV to Duisburg, the two teams played in a pre-season friendly and Lamey scored an own goal in favour of his previous team. Johan Vonlanthen Benavídez (born 1 February 1986) is a Swiss former professional association football, footballer who played as a winger (association football), winger.
