2004–05 NSW Premier League Season
The 2004–05 NSW Premier League season was the fourth season of the revamped NSW Premier League. Throughout the season many Premier League, NSW Super League, Super League, NSW State League Division One, Division One and NSW State League Division Two, Division Two teams competed in a newly formed FA Cup-style knockout competition called the Waratah Cup, Statewide Cup in which the Sydney United 58 FC, Sydney United were crowned champions after defeating Belconnen Blue Devils in 3–1 at Parramatta Stadium. Changes from Previous Season The number of teams increased from 12 to 16, with the inclusion of former National Soccer League teams following the abolishment of that league in favour of the restructured A-League. NSW Premier League
The National Premier Leagues NSW is a semi-professional soccer competition in New South Wales, Australia. The competition is conducted by Football NSW, the organising body in New South Wales (the other being the National Premier Leagues Northern NSW organised by Northern NSW Football). The league is a subdivision of the second tier National Premier Leagues (NPL), which sits below the national A-League. Manly United
Manly United Football Club is an Australian football club based in the northern beaches area of Sydney. The club competes in the National Premier Leagues NSW and their home ground is Cromer Park, in the suburb of Dee Why, approximately 15 minutes away from Manly. Its main grandstand is named after former Socceroo captain Lucas Neill, who played for the club as a junior before playing overseas at Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United. Central Coast FC
Central Coast United FC, is a semi-professional soccer club, based and located on the Central Coast of New South Wales. As of the 2022 season, the club's senior teams compete in the NSW League One competitions and the clubs youth team compete in NSW League Two competitions. Senior team history In 2017, the club applied and was granted a licence to compete under from the start of the 2018 season. In both the 2018 and 2019 season, Club Captain Daniel McFarlane won NSW State League Player of the Year. In the club's first season they narrowly lost out on promotion by a single point, an incredible achievement in their first season. Avala Sports Club is the home of the Avala football (soccer) club in Bonnyrigg, New South Wales, Australia. Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in Bonnyrigg, Sydney, New South Wales, currently playing in the NSW League One. Blacktown City Football Club is an Australian semi-professional football club based in Blacktown, New South Wales. Founded in 1953, the club currently competes in the National Premier Leagues NSW. McKellar Park, formerly known as Belconnen Soccer Centre and McKellar Soccer Centre, is an association football stadium in the Canberra suburb of McKellar, in Australia. Bankstown City FC is an Australian soccer club from the Sydney suburb of Sefton in New South Wales, Australia. They compete in the NSW League Two Men's and National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s, playing their home games at Jensen Oval. Lambert Park (Leichhardt)
Lambert Park is a purpose-built soccer stadium in Leichhardt, New South Wales, Australia. It is the home ground of the APIA Leichhardt, and the Sydney FC Youth who participate in the National Youth League. The stadium is peculiar in that it runs east to west, rather than north to south. The stadium has a nominal capacity of 7000, with 2000 seated in two main stands on either side of the playing field. In the southern of these stands there are dressing room facilities, a social club with views of the game, press facilities and media facilities.
