2004–05 Divizia B
The 2004–05 Divizia B was the 65th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to three series, each of them consisting of 16 teams. At the end of the season, the winners of the series promoted to Divizia A and the last three places from all the series relegated to Divizia C. Divizia B
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. The teams placed from 7th to 12th will play a relegation play-off, where the last two teams are relegated to Liga III. FC Unirea Dej
Fotbal Club Unirea Dej, commonly known as Unirea Dej, is a Romanian professional football club from Dej, Cluj County, Romania, founded in 1921. They play in the Liga II. History It is one of Romania's oldest football teams, although it never reached the Liga I. Unirea's home field, Stadionul Unirea, has 5,000 seats. In 2004 Unirea Dej became the reserve team of CFR Cluj, until the summer of 2007. It has an average audience of about 300 fans. Since September 2008 the club has collaborated with AC Milan. CS Otopeni
CS Otopeni was a Romanian professional football club from Otopeni, Ilfov County, founded in 2001 and dissolved in 2013. Its greatest performance was that it played for one season in the Liga I in the 2008–09 season. History The club was founded in 2001 at the initiative of the mayor of the locality, Silviu Constantin Gheorghe. In the first season, 2001–02, in the Ilfov County Championship, missed the direct promotion in front of Sportul Ciorogârla, but managing to reach the Liga III after he bought the place from Conired Pucioasa and it soon made way from the Liga III to the Liga I. In 2008 the team on the outskirts of Bucharest managed the biggest performance in the club's history, namely promoting to the Liga I. FCM Dunărea Galați
Dunărea Galați was a Romanian professional football club from Galați, Galați county, south-east Romania, founded in 1970. The club was dissolved in 2014. History The club was founded in 1970, took the place of Oțelul Galați in Divizia B and has played for 5 seasons in the Liga I. For a brief period, it was Galați's main team, but after the rise of Oțelul in the 1980s, it is seen only in the Liga II and the Liga III. They were supposed to be relegated to Liga III at the end of the 2007–08 season, but they managed to maintain their second league position due to the withdrawal of FCM Câmpina. The Liga 3, most often spelled as Liga III, is the third level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia C to Liga III before the start of the 2006–07 season.
