2004–05 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship
The 2004–05 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship was the second staging of the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association for the 2003–04 season. The championship ran from 24 October 2004 to 28 March 2005. The All-Ireland final was played on 28 March 2005 at O'Moore Park in Portlaoise, between Carbery Rangers and Pomeroy Plunketts. Carbery Rangers won the match by 1-14 to 1-08 to claim their first ever championship title. St Mary's Rochfortbridge GAA
St Mary's is the Gaelic football club in the village of Rochfortbridge, Westmeath, Ireland. The club was founded as an amalgamation of Gibbonstown and Rochfortbridge Warriors in 1950. In total, St Mary's have won three Senior championships, with six final appearances. The original Gaelic Athletic Association club in the village - Rochfortbridge Warriors - date back much further and were very successful, winning 5 Senior championships and appearing in a further 6 finals. St Mary's won the Westmeath Senior Football Championship in their first year of existence and also won in 1954 and 1962. In 2003, St Mary's were relegated from the Senior ranks. Timahoe GAA
Timahoe GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association gaelic football club in the village of Timahoe, County Laois, Ireland. Club colours are red and white and the club grounds are called Páirc Mochua. It provided the venue for the 1984 All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship Final, where Kerry defeated Leitrim. Timahoe's only Laois Senior Football Championship title to date came in 1969 when Tom Joe Bradley captained the club to the county title. Bobby Miller was probably one of Timahoe's greatest ever players while former Laois senior star Pauric Clancy was midfielder on the 2003 Laois team which won the Leinster Senior Football Championship. Clonbullogue GAA
Clonbullogue or Clonbolloge () is a village in County Offaly, Ireland. Location The village is located at the junction of the R401 and R442 regional roads. The ''Figile River'' runs through the village under the R442 near its confluence with the ''Philipstown River''. Between the village and Edenderry, 11 km to the north, lies the Bog of Allen. Clonbullogue is located near the point where three counties—Offaly, Laois and Kildare meet. The village is on an island of pasture land in the bog of Allen. The area is marked on the Cottonian map 1653 of Leix & Offaly as Clanbolg. In the 1659 Census, Robert Shallcross was listed as the titled person in the area. In 1679, Charles II granted this area to the Purefoy family and for a time the village was called Purefoy's Place. In 1798, the village was burned—the only part of Offaly to suffer this fate during the Rebellion. Tinryland GAA
Tinryland (, translated as "house of Raoilinn") is a village in County Carlow, Republic of Ireland, Ireland, less than 5 km south of Carlow town. It is within the townland of Tinriland (historically Tinrilan), in the parish of Tullowmagimma. History Evidence of settlement in the Neolithic Period (3700-3400 BC) was found at the ancient burial site in ''Linkardstown'' in 1943. The find consisted of a polygonal stone chamber paved with stones that sloped upwards and inwards. Inside was found the remains of a single human, along with some pottery. Linkardstown Church and Graveyard is now in ruins, but the old stone baptismal font used in the church and which dates from the 18th century now stands in the grounds of the modern St. Joseph's Church, Tinryland. Erin's Own GAA (Kilkenny)
Erin's Own Gaelic Athletic Association was founded in 1885 and since then has been the main sporting organization in the Castlecomer area in County Kilkenny, Ireland. Erin's Own fielded teams in 11 different grades of hurling and in 7 grades of gaelic football in 2006, and is currently undertaking major development at its new ground, Canon Kearns Park. With a membership of about 20 adults and about 100 youths the club is in the enviable position of having two properties, the first, The Prince Grounds, in the town, and the second, Canon Kearns Park, on the outskirts of the town, towards Kilkenny. Ballyhogue GAA
Ballyhogue or Ballyhoge () is a village and census town in County Wexford, Ireland. The village, which lies in a townland and civil parish of the same name, had a population of 255 people as of the 2022 census. It is 10 km south of Enniscorthy. Evidence of ancient settlement in the area include a number of ecclesiastical sites and the remains of a hillfort to the south of the village. Some sources associate the ruined church of St. John, and its nearby graveyard, with the Knights Hospitaller. The local Roman Catholic church, Bellevue church, was built between 1858 and 1860. Depending on the sources, the designs of the church are attributed to either Augustus Pugin (1812–1852), his son Edward Welby Pugin (1834–1875), or architect James Joseph McCarthy (1817–1882). Wolfe Tones GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club which comprises an amalgamation of the parishes of Oristown and Kilberry which are situated roughly halfway between the town of Navan and the town of Kells, in County Meath, Ireland. The club mainly plays football but also have a strong hurling side. It competes in Meath GAA competitions. The club won the Meath Senior Football Championship in 2006 and 2021.
