Lee Byung-woo (; born January 22, 1965) is a South Korean guitarist and composer of film scores. He has composed music for more than twenty films, including the segment "Memories" in ''Three'' (2002), ''A Tale of Two Sisters'' (2003), '' All for Love'' (2005), '' The Host'' (2006) and ''Mother'' (2009). Lee's music for ''A Tale of Two Sisters'' was described by '' OhmyNews'' as "one of the best film scores ever composed for a Korean film". He won Best Music at the 2004 Shanghai International Film Festival for ''Untold Scandal'', and in 2006 his score for ''The King and the Clown'' won the same accolade at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. ''Shanghai Story'' () is a 2004 Chinese film directed by Peng Xiaolian. A family drama, the film was the surprise winner of the 19th Golden Rooster Awards in China, where it won best picture over the heavily favored ''House of Flying Daggers''. The film's win was also surprising given that the story, according to Arthur Jones of ''Variety'', included references to the Cultural Revolution, which is still a sore subject for Chinese censors. Even more surprisingly, the film was little-touched by censors. While the film's studio in Shanghai requested changes to the ending, Peng asked for the decision to come from the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television in Beijing, who chose to leave the film be. Park Chul-soo
Park Chul-soo (November 20, 1948 – February 19, 2013) was a South Korean film director, producer, screenwriter and occasional actor. He was one of the most active filmmakers in Korean cinema in the 1980s and '90s. Career Park Chul-soo was born in Daegu, South Korea. After graduating from Daegu Commercial High School, Park studied Economics on scholarship at Sungkyunkwan University. After graduation, he briefly worked as a teacher in his hometown, Daegu. He began his film career as a crew member for Shin Film before making his directorial debut in 1978 with ''Captain of the Alley'', which opened to a lukewarm reception. But success came his way through his second film released the following year, '' The Rain that Falls Every Night'', a story about a woman who falls in love with a boxer who raped her. Josephine Koo Mei-Wah or Gu Meihua () is a Chinese film actress. She had a bright start to her film career, starring in Yim Ho's Hong Kong New Wave classic ''Homecoming'' (1984). The film won her the Best New Performer Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards in 1985, and also a nomination for Best Actress, but she was beaten by Siqin Gaowa from the same film. After ''Homecoming'', Koo appeared in Yim Ho's '' Red Dust'' (1990), Stanley Kwan's ''Full Moon in New York'' (1990) and Evans Chan's ''To Live(e)'' (1992).
