Australia National Rugby Union Team
The Australia national rugby union team, nicknamed the Wallabies, is the representative national team in the sport of rugby union for the nation of Australia. The team first played at Sydney in 1899, winning their first test match against the touring British Isles team. Australia have competed in all nine Rugby World Cups, winning the final on two occasions and also finishing as runner-up twice. Australia beat England at Twickenham in the final of the 1991 Rugby World Cup and won again in 1999 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff when their opponents in the final were France. The Wallabies also compete annually in The Rugby Championship (formerly the Tri-Nations), along with southern hemisphere counterparts Argentina, New Zealand and South Africa. Bruce Douglas (rugby Union)
Bruce Andrew Ferguson Douglas (born 10 February 1980) is a former Scottish rugby union rugby player. He played as a prop, and had been signed with French top 14 club Montpellier from July 2008 up until March 2010 when it was confirmed that he was signed with Worcester Warriors. He has represented Scottish Schools, Scottish Districts and Scotland at under-16, under-18, under-19 and under-21 levels. Douglas began his career at Harlequins, before moving back north to the newly formed Border Reivers in 2002. Douglas won his first cap for Scotland in the 37–10 win against Romania in November 2002. Matt Giteau
Matthew James Giteau (born 29 September 1982) is an Australian rugby union professional player who is playing with the LA Giltinis of Major League Rugby (MLR). Giteau joined the Giltinis after a short playing stint with the Gungahlin Eagles in the ACTRU Premier Division in 2020. His regular playing positions are Inside centre, Halfback and Fly-half. Stirling Mortlock
Stirling Austin Mortlock AM (born 20 May, 1977) is a former Australian professional rugby union player. He has scored more than 1,000 points in Super Rugby, and nearly 500 test points for the Wallabies. Mortlock is a former Wallaby, Melbourne Rebels and Brumbies captain. Clyde Rathbone (born 23 July 1981 in Durban, South Africa), nicknamed "Rattlebones", is an Australian rugby union player. He plays for the Brumbies in Super Rugby. Chris Latham (rugby Union)
Chris Latham (born 8 September 1975) is a former Australian rugby union player who enjoyed a distinguished representative career with the Wests Bulldogs, Queensland Reds and Australia between 1998 and 2007 before signing with Worcester Warriors in the UK and later Japanese club Kyuden Voltex. Hugo Finlay Grant Southwell (born 14 May 1980 in London) is a retired Scottish rugby union footballer. He played as a fullback, centre and wing. Career He played for London Wasps as well as Stade Français, Edinburgh, Worcester Warriors and Bristol Rugby during his career. He qualified for Scotland through a maternal grandfather from Falkirk. Southwell made his Scotland debut as a replacement in 2004 against Samoa in New Zealand. Michael Robert Leighton Blair (born 20 April 1981) is a Scottish rugby union coach who was formerly a professional player. He is the head coach of Edinburgh. He played at scrum-half for Glasgow Warriors, Newcastle Falcons, CA Brive and Edinburgh Rugby.
