2003–04 Vyshcha Liha
The 2003–04 Vyshcha Liha season was the 13th since its establishment. The season began on 12 July 2003 with seven games of the first season round. FC Dynamo Kyiv were the defending champions, having won their 11th league title in the 2002–03 season and they successfully defended their title by winning the championship in the last round of the competition. A total of sixteen teams participated in the league, the best fourteen sides of the 2002–03 season and two promoted clubs from the 2002–03 Ukrainian First League. The competition had a winter break which began on 11 November 2003 and the season resumed on 14 March 2004. The season concluded on 19 June 2004. The Ukrainian Premier League ( uk, "Українська Прем'єр-ліга", ''Ukrayinska Premier Liha'') or UPL is the highest division of Ukrainian annual football championship. FC Borysfen Boryspil
FC Borysfen Boryspil is a formerly professional Ukrainian football club from Boryspil, Ukraine. The club was created as a phoenix club in 1997 by Ihor Kovalevych after disagreement in FC CSKA Kyiv (today FC Arsenal Kyiv). The history of the club is controversial and its admission to professional competitions is dubious. In mid 1990s the original team of Zlobenko reached some agreement with the Central Sports Club of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (CSK ZSU) after which there was established a joint team "CSKA-Borysfen" that became the first successful debutant of the Ukrainian Vyshcha Liha (today Ukrainian Premier League) finishing among top 5 at the end of season. Football Club Dnipro ( uk, Футбо́льний Клуб «Дніпро́», ) was a Ukrainian football club based in Dnipro. The club was owned by the Privat Group that also owns BC Dnipro and Budivelnyk Kyiv. In 2018 FC Dnipro was forced into bankruptcy by FIFA due to multiple legal claims for failing to pay its promised monetary compensation to players and managers. Football Club Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih () was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Kryvyi Rih. Until 2013 the club participated in professional competitions. In June 2013 the club went bankrupt and was expelled from the Ukrainian Premier League. There was a failed attempt to revive the club in 2014, until finally the club was reestablished again in 2015.
