2003–04 Oklahoma State Cowboys Basketball Team
The 2003–04 Oklahoma State Cowboys men's basketball team represents Oklahoma State University in the 2003–04 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by 14th-year head coach Eddie Sutton. In 2002–03, the Cowboys finished 22–10 (10–6 in the Big 12 Conference). Preseason Four transfers became eligible to play for the Cowboys this season. Joey and Stevie Graham transferred from the University of Central Florida, Daniel Bobik transferred from BYU, and John Lucas III transferred from Baylor University but did not have to sit out the required year after the Baylor University basketball scandal. Regular season The Cowboys won their first four games before traveling to BYU to take on Daniel Bobik's former team and Rafael Araújo, who gave the Cowboys their first setback of the year. Eddie Sutton
Edward Eugene Sutton (March 12, 1936 – May 23, 2020) was an American college basketball coach. A native of Bucklin, Kansas, Sutton played college basketball at Oklahoma A&M (later Oklahoma State) and was a head coach at the high school, junior college, and college levels spanning six decades. After beginning his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Oklahoma State under Henry Iba, Sutton was a successful head coach at Tulsa Central High School and the College of Southern Idaho. Sutton began coaching at the NCAA level in 1969 at Creighton University, followed by Arkansas from 1974 to 1985, Kentucky from 1985 to 1989, and Oklahoma State from 1990 to 2006. For part of the 2007–08 season, Sutton was interim head coach at San Francisco. During his college coaching career, Sutton is one of only eight NCAA Division I coaches to have had more than 800 career wins. Texas Tech Red Raiders Basketball
The Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball team represents Texas Tech University in basketball. Texas Tech competes in NCAA Division I, and has been a charter member of the Big 12 Conference since its first season in 1996. The team previously competed in the Border Conference and Southwest Conference. The team was founded in 1925, having since won 13 regular season conference championship, and made 19 appearances in the NCAA tournament as of the 2021–22 season. The Red Raiders have played their home games at the United Supermarkets Arena since 1999 on the university's campus in Lubbock, Texas. Tony Allen (basketball)
Anthony Allen (born January 11, 1982), nicknamed "The Grindfather," is an American former professional basketball player who played for 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), primarily for the Memphis Grizzlies. He is a six-time member on the NBA All-Defensive Team, including three times on the All-Defensive First Team. Allen won an NBA championship with the Boston Celtics in 2008. Ivan McFarlin
Ivan McFarlin (born April 26, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player. Basketball career McFarlin attended Willowridge High School in Houston, Texas, where he led his team to win the state championship in his senior year, as he averaged 15.9 points, 14.9 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 3.2 steals. McFarlin played college basketball at Oklahoma State University, and helped the Cowboys to a Final Four appearance in 2004, where the team lost to Georgia Tech on a late-game basket. He is one of four Oklahoma State players to have over 1,000 points, 700 rebounds, and 100 blocks, the other three being Byron Houston, Leroy Combs and Bryant Reeves. In the 2006-07 NBA season, McFarlin was a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, but was traded on December 19, 2006, along with NBA superstar Allen Iverson for two draft picks, Andre Miller and Joe Smith. Stephen Graham (basketball)
Stephen Graham (born June 11, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player coach. Graham's twin brother, Joey, was his college teammate and has also played in the NBA. He is currently a player and development coach with the Denver Nuggets. High school and college career Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Graham played competitively at Florida's Brandon High School, and was team captain his senior year in which he averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists per game; in that year, he and his brother Joey led Brandon to the state finals. Will Bynum
William Bynum (born January 4, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of Arizona and Georgia Tech before going undrafted in the 2005 NBA draft. He was the 2007 Israeli Basketball Premier League Finals MVP. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Men's Basketball
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team represents the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in NCAA Division I basketball. The team plays its home games in McCamish Pavilion on the school's Atlanta campus and is currently coached by Josh Pastner. Cremins led his team to the first ACC tournament victory in school history in 1985 and in 1990 he took Georgia Tech to the school's first Final Four appearance ever.
