Mansfield is a market town and the administrative centre of Mansfield District in Nottinghamshire, England. It is the largest town in the wider Mansfield Urban Area (followed by Sutton-in-Ashfield). It gained the Royal Charter of a market town in 1227. The town lies in the Maun Valley, north of Nottingham and near Sutton-in-Ashfield. Most of the 109,000 population live in the town itself (including Mansfield Woodhouse), with Warsop as a secondary centre. Luke Anthony Dimech (born 11 January 1977) is a former Maltese professional footballer defender. Club career Sliema Wanderers Born in Floriana, Malta, Dimech began his career playing for Sliema Wanderers. Luke's first season was the 1995–96 season and instantly gained silverware when the club won the Maltese Premier League. Luke spent seven seasons with the club and even managed establishing himself in the Maltese national team in 1999, in total Dimech made 133 appearances and scored on three occasions during his time with the club. Neil David MacKenzie (born 15 April 1976) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder. He scored 38 goals in 479 league and cup appearances across a 19-year career. Starting his career at Stoke City in 1996, after three years he moved on to Cambridge United, following a short loan period. After this he spent a season with Kidderminster Harriers, then another season with Blackpool, before signing with Mansfield Town in 2002. After two years he transferred to Scunthorpe United, where he was loaned out to Hereford United, before signing with Notts County in 2007. Macclesfield is a market town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East in Cheshire, England. It is located on the River Bollin in the east of the county, on the edge of the Cheshire Plain, with Macclesfield Forest to its east; it is south of Manchester and east of Chester. Anthony John Vaughan (born 11 October 1975) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender/midfielder from 1994 until 2006. He played Premier League football for Ipswich Town before moving into the Football League with Manchester City, Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest, Scunthorpe United, Mansfield Town, Barnsley and Stockport County.
