2003–04 EEHL Season
The 2003–04 Eastern European Hockey League season, was the ninth and final season of the multi-national ice hockey league. Nine teams participated in Division A, Six teams participated in Division B, and seven teams participated in the EEHL Cup. HK Keramin Minsk won Division A, HK Vitebsk won Division B, and Titan Klin won the EEHL Cup. Eastern European Hockey League
Eastern European Hockey League (EEHL) was a regional ice hockey league which existed from 1995 to 2004. History The league was formed in 1995 by Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine, to provide a higher-level competition for teams from those countries. In some years, the league also included teams from Poland and Russia. Besides the main tournament for professional ice hockey teams, the league also had junior championships in several age groups. In 2004, it was dissolved. Instead, two teams from Latvia ( Metalurgs Liepāja and Rīga 2000) and one team from Ukraine (Sokil Kyiv) joined the Belarusian Extraliga. There was temporarily a period where the Belarusian Extraliga was closed to foreign teams, but that has since changed as Metalurgs Liepāja, Dinamo/Juniors Rīga, and Sokil Kyiv became members of the league. HK Ogre
ASK/Ogre was an ice hockey club in Ogre, Latvia founded in 2003. Their home arena was Vidzemes Ledus Halle. The team finished second in the Latvian championships in the 2003/04, 2004/05, 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons. In 2008/09 they played in the Belarusian Extraliga The Belarusian Extraleague (abbreviated BHL, also known as the Belarusian Open Championship), officially formed in 2006, is the top ice hockey league in Belarus. TKH Torun
The Fablok T3A also known as TKh49 or Ferrum 47 / 724 is a class of Polish steam industrial tank locomotive. It was built by Fablok in 1948-1961 years. History The locomotive is based on a draft from the years 1927-1929; seven locomotives of the factory designation T1A, basing upon Austrian license, were built by Fablok then. Its development with a superheater was Fablok T2A (Ferrum 29 or Tkh29), of which eleven were built before World War II. The name Ferrum came from Ferrum Ironworks, for which it was developed. The technical documentation survived until after World War II and ten more T2A were manufactured. Due to big need of industrial locomotives in looted post-war Poland, it was decided to develop it into a simplified class of locomotive, factory name T3A or Ferrum 47, from 1947 year. HK Riga 2000
HK Riga 2000 was an ice hockey team based in Riga, Latvia. The team had played in the LHL since it was founded. In 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons the club also iced a team in the Belarusian Hockey League, and in 2005-06 finished 3rd. HK Riga 2000 was first foreign team to finish in top three of Belarusian Open Championship. The club has also played several years in the Continental Cup, winning silver in 2005-06 and 2007-08. Before the 2009-2010 KHL season the team was merged into HK Dinamo/Juniors Rīga, the farm club of KHL side Dinamo Rīga. Keramin Minsk ''( Belar. Керамин-Минск)'' was an ice hockey team from Minsk, Belarus. They played in the Belarusian Extraleague until 2010 where the team disbanded due to financial reasons. History The club was created in 1998 under the name HC Minsk. In 2001, the club changed name to Keramin Minsk. HK Liepājas Metalurgs was a hockey club based in Liepāja, Latvia that fielded multiple teams over the years competing in the Belarusian Extraliga (BXL), Latvian Hockey League (LHL), and Minor Hockey League Division B (MHL B). The club was dissolved following the conclusion of the 2012-13 season when primary sponsor, industrial company Liepājas Metalurgs, discontinued support for the club.
