Idols (Danish TV Series)
''Idols Danmark or ("Idols: Ærlig Jagt. Ægte Talent")'' is the Danish version of the British music competition ''Pop Idol'' (2001–2003) created by Simon Fuller. After ''Pop Idol'' became a great success in England in 2001, announced the danish pay-channel TV3 in 2003, that they would launch a danish version of ''Idols''. ''Idols'' premiered on danish television in September 2003 with the two hosts Tomas Villum Jensen and Uffe Holm presenting the show, the premiere of '' Idols 2003'' was watched by over 450,000 people and 188,000 people in average watched the first season, the judges in the first season was Thomas Blachman, Kjeld Wennick, Henriette Blix and Carsten Kroeyer. Pop Idol
''Pop Idol'' is a British music competition television series created by Simon Fuller which ran on ITV from 2001 to 2003. The aim of the show was to decide the best new young pop singer (or "pop idol") in the UK based on viewer voting and participation. Two series were broadcast, one in 2001–2002 and a second in 2003. An immense success when it launched in 2001, Maggie Brown in ''The Guardian'' wrote, "the show became a seminal reality/entertainment format once on air that autumn". TV2 (Denmark)
TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station in Denmark based in Odense, Funen. History Since 1949, Danmarks Radio had been the sole provider of television in Denmark. Wanting to end the monopoly, the Danish Parliament voted on 30 May 1986, to create TV2, as a second choice for public service television. Upon its establishment, it had first begun its experimental test transmissions, and then, two years later, it had therefore commenced its official broadcast on 1 October 1988, with its first program being ''Danish Symphony'' which is broadcast at 17:00, followed by the news at 19:30. Subscription and overseas availability From 1 November 2009, all Danish television broadcasting became digital with DVB-T and MPEG4 standard. Junior Eurovision Song Contest
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest (often shortened to JESC, Junior Eurovision or Junior EuroSong) is an international song competition which has been organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) annually since 2003. It is held in a different European city each year, however the same city can host the contest more than once. The competition has many similarities to the Eurovision Song Contest from which its name is taken. Each participating broadcaster sends an act, the members of which are aged 9 to 14 on the day of the contest, and an original song lasting three minutes at most to compete against the other participating entries. Each entry represents the country served by the participating broadcaster. Viewers from all around the world are invited to vote for their favourite performances by online voting, and a national jury from each participating country also vote. Forum Copenhagen ( da, Forum København, italic=no) is a large multi-purpose, rentable indoor arena located in Frederiksberg, Denmark. It hosts a large variety of concerts, markets, exhibitions and other events. The venue can hold up to 10,000 people depending on the event. The Forum operates as a convention center, concert hall and indoor arena. It was opened in February 1926 to host a car exhibition and was last renovated in 1996–97. Over two storeys there is a combined exhibition floor area of 5,000 m2> and a separate restaurant for up to 250 seated guests. The Metro station Forum is adjacent to the building. Ti Si Moja Prva Ljubav
Croatia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2003. The Croatian broadcaster Hrvatska radiotelevizija (HRT) organised an national final to select the first Croatian entry, being Dino Jelusić with the song " Ti si moja prva ljubav", which went on to win the 2003 contest. Before Junior Eurovision Dječja Pjesma Eurovizije 2003 ''Dječja Pjesma Eurovizije 2003'' was the first edition of the Croatian national selection, which selected Croatia's entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2003. Dino Jelusić
Dino Jelusić (born 4 June 1992), also known by his stage name Dino Jelusick, is a Croatian rock singer, musician, and songwriter. He is the founder, principal songwriter, and lead singer of progressive rock band Animal Drive, which was formed in 2012, and since 2017 has been signed to Frontiers Records. Besides working on several hard rock and metal projects, since 2016, Jelusick has been a touring member for American rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra. ''Big Brother Danmark'' was the Danish version of the international reality television franchise ''Big Brother'' created by producer John de Mol. The series debuted on Danish television in January 2001 and was axed in June 2014, due to poor ratings. The show first aired two regular seasons on ''TvDanmark2'' (Now Kanal 4) in 2001.
