2003 FINA World Championships
The 10th FINA World Aquatics Championships were held July 12–27, 2003 in Barcelona, Spain. The championships featured competition in all 5 of FINA's disciplines: Swimming, Diving, Synchronised swimming, Water Polo, and Open Water Swimming. Competition was held in the facilities all around the city: Palau Sant Jordi, Piscines Bernat Picornell, Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc, Club de Natació de Barcelona and Port Vell. Schedule Competition dates were: *Diving: July 13–19 and 21; *Synchronized Swimming: July 13–19; *Open Water: July 13 (5K), 16 (10K) and 19 (25K); *Water Polo: *Swimming: July 20–27. Aleksandr Mikhailovich Dobroskok (russian: Александр Михайлович Доброскок; born 12 June 1982) is a Russian diver who competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics and in the 2004 Summer Olympics. Hu Jia (; born January 10, 1983, in Wuhan, Hubei) is a male Chinese diver who won the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the men's 10 metre platform. Tobias Schellenberg (born November 17, 1978, in Leipzig) is a German competitive and synchronized diver. In 2000 he became three-time German Champion in competitive diving, and European Champion in synchronized diving on the 3 m springboard together with his partner Andreas Wels. In competitive diving, he won another two German Champion titles in 2001, four in 2002, and five in 2003. Tian Liang (; born August 27, 1979) is a male Chinese actor and former diver. Diving career Tian won gold in the 10 m platform event in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
