Adidas Cup
The Adidas Cup was an annual Association football, football competition in Football in South Korea, South Korean football and the Korean League Cup held by the K League Federation from 1992 to 2002. Format The Adidas Cup is classified as a cup competition, but its format was similar to typical league until 1997. In 1998, 2001, and 2002, the participating clubs were divided into two groups, and the top two clubs of each group advanced to the Single-elimination tournament, knockout stage. In 1999 and 2000, it was held as a knockout tournament. Suwon Sports Complex () is a group of sports facilities in Suwon, South Korea. The complex consists of the Suwon Stadium, Suwon Baseball Stadium, and Suwon Gymnasium. Shin Tae-yong (, Hanja: 申台龍; born on 11 May 1970) is a South Korean former professional footballer and manager who is currently coaching the Indonesia national football team. He is the first man to win the Asian Club Championship/AFC Champions League as both player and manager, having won the 1995 Asian Club Championship and the 2010 AFC Champions League with Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. Seo Jung-won (born 17 December 1970) is a South Korean football manager and former player, currently in charge of Chengdu Rongcheng. Playing career A winger who had explosive pace, Seo was nicknamed the "Nalssaendori", which means an agile man in Korean. He played for South Korean under-23 team in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and scored against Sweden. He was reportedly offered a contract from FC Barcelona and other European club giants after his performances in the Olympics, but he stayed South Korea to serve a two-year mandatory military service. Denis Vladimirovich Laktionov (russian: Денис Владимирович Лактионов; born 4 September 1977) is a Russian football coach and a former player.
