Monica Bergamelli
Monica Roberta Bergamelli (born 24 May 1984 in Alzano Lombardo) is a former Italian artistic gymnast who represented Italy at the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Olympic Games. She was a member of the Italian team that won the gold medal at the 2006 European Championships. Career Bergamelli's first major international competition was the 1998 Junior European Championships. She helped the Italian team win the bronze medal behind Ukraine and Romania, and Bergamelli won the silver medal on the balance beam behind Ukrainian gymnast Olha Rozshchupkina. Monica Roşu (born 11 May 1987) is a former artistic gymnast from Romania. During her career, she won two Olympic gold medals (team and vault), a silver medal with the Romanian team at world championships, and two gold medals at the European Championships (team and vault). Early life and career Roşu was born in Bacău. She started gymnastics in 1991 at age four and trained during her early years at CSS Bacău. She was selected to train for the junior national team and left her family for Oneşti, then the site of the junior training center. Anna Anatolyevna Pavlova (russian: А́нна Анато́льевна Па́влова; born 6 September 1987) is a Russian-born artistic gymnast who won two bronze medals at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, and represented Russia in other international competitions. In 2002 she won the Russian National Championships. Pavlova competed for Azerbaijan from 2013, winning silver at the 2014 European Championships on vault. She was well known for her balletic style and clean technique. Pavlova retired in 2015 at the age of 28.
