2002 Chinese Football Super Cup
The 2002 LG Chinese Football Super Cup (Chinese: LG杯2002年度中国足球超霸杯赛) was the 8th Chinese Football Super Cup, contested by Chinese Jia-A League 2002 winners Dalian Shide and 2002 Chinese FA Cup winners Qingdao Sbright. The match was played at the Wuhan Sports Center Stadium on 6 February 2003. Dalian Shide beat Qingdao Sbright 1–0, thus winning their third title of Super Cup. Chinese Football Super Cup
The Chinese FA Super Cup (), formerly named Chinese Football Super Cup (), is a pre-season football competition held before the season begins in China. It is a Chinese football championship contested by the winners of top division of Professional League (former Chinese Jia-A League, now Chinese Super League) and the FA Cup last season. If both teams are the same, the opponent is the runners-up of league last season. It is the Chinese equivalent to the English FA Community Shield, in which the winners of the Premier League and FA Cup compete for the trophy. It was created in 1995 but was not held between 2004 and 2011. The most successful club is Guangzhou with four titles. Wang Sheng (footballer)
Wang Sheng (Chinese:王圣 born May 1, 1981; Qingdao, Shandong, China) is a Chinese international footballer who plays as a defender . Club career Wang Sheng began his career with top tier side Dalian Shide in 1999 where he made eight appearances in his debut season and by the following season he would further increase his appearances with 12 games to establish himself as a regular within the team. During his time with Dalian he spent nine seasons with them seeing them win four league titles and two Chinese FA Cups. He would transfer to Wuhan Optics Valley in the 2008 season which turned out to be a disappointment when Wuhan spent the entire season fighting relegation and even quitting the CSL for unfair punishment after the club's management did not accept the punishment given to them by the Chinese Football Association after a scuffle broke out during a league game against Beijing Guoan on September 27, 2008. Yang Jun (footballer)
Yang Jun (; born 10 June 1981 in Tianjin) is a Chinese footballer. Club career Yang Jun was considered an outstanding young talented goalkeeper and was quickly spotted by the Chinese youth system before top tier side Qingdao Yizhong Hainiu took him into their side and promoted him into their senior side by the 2001 league season. At Qingdao, who had changed their name to Qingdao Jonoon, he would not have to wait long before he would establish himself as a team regular by the end of the 2002 league season when he made twenty league appearances at the end of the season. Milorad Kosanović ( sr-Cyrl, Милорад Косановић, ; born 4 January 1951) is a Serbian former football player and manager. During his playing career, Kosanović represented Proleter Zrenjanin, Vojvodina, Kikinda and Novi Sad, competing in the Yugoslav First and Second League. Zou Jie (Chinese:邹捷; born January 17, 1981, in Dalian) is a former Chinese football player. Club career Zou Jie began his professional football career for Dalian Shide in the 2000 league season, making two appearances. He rose to prominence in the 2001 Chinese season when he played in 20 games, scoring 8 goals, playing a vital part in the title winning team and would personally win the Young player of the year award. Establishing himself as a first-choice regular within the team, he would win several more league titles and Chinese FA Cup with Dalian, with the 2005 season being his most prolific when he scored 15 goals in 23 appearances. Zhang Yalin
Zhang Yalin (; 19 April 1981 – 14 February 2010) was a Chinese football midfielder. Biography Zhang Yalin started his football career in the 2000 Chinese league season for Dalian Shide F.C. and would quickly establish himself within the team that won the league title. From then on he would become a vital member of the team and by 2003 he was selected to the China national under-23 football team but was injured in training, which ruled him out from any tournament. By 2006 in his personal life he married Jia Nini (贾妮妮), a Chinese model and actress. They named their daughter, who was born 12 July 2007, Zhang Shijia (张诗伽). Hu Zhaojun (; ) is a Chinese football player. Club career Hu Zhaojun is a defensive midfielder who started his career with Dalian Shide in 1999 where in his debut season he made six appearances. He subsequently established himself as a regular where he was known for his outstanding long-range shooting ability and excellent free kicks. During his time with Dalian he would play with one of the dominant teams in China and subsequently played a role in several league title wins.
