The Bridgeport Barrage played their second season, as a charter member of the MLL, during the 2002 season of Major League Lacrosse. The Barrage ended up in 3rd place in the American Division with a record of 3–11. The Barrage failed to qualify for the 2002 season MLL playoffs. The Ballpark At Harbor Yard
The Ballpark at Harbor Yard was a 5,500-seat minor-league ballpark in downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut that opened on May 21, 1998. The stadium was located next to the Webster Bank Arena, now known as the Total Mortgage Arena. It was named "Harbor Yard" as an allusion to Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. Located on Bridgeport's Long Island Sound waterfront, Harbor Yard was encircled by Interstate 95 and the Northeast Corridor rail line. The site had navigable ingress and egress routes to northern Fairfield County and the Naugatuck River Valley via the 8/ 25 connector. The city chose not to renew its lease to the Bluefish and closed the stadium after the 2017 baseball season. Cawley Memorial Stadium
Cawley Memorial Stadium is a 6,000-seat multipurpose stadium in Lowell, Massachusetts primarily used for football, soccer, field hockey, track and field and lacrosse. The stadium was named after Edward Cawley, a landowner who owned several plots of land near the stadium on which the complex sits. The City of Lowell has always controlled this facility. The stadium is the home field for Lowell High School teams, and for the Lowell Nor'easter of the New England Football League. Innovative Field (originally known as Frontier Field) is a baseball stadium located at One Morrie Silver Way in downtown Rochester, New York. It has been the home of the Rochester Red Wings of the International League since 1997. The Chesapeake Bayhawks were a Major League Lacrosse (MLL) professional men's field lacrosse team based in Annapolis, Maryland since 2010. They played in the greater Baltimore metro area beginning with the MLL's inaugural 2001 season, as the Baltimore Bayhawks from 2001–2006 and as the Washington Bayhawks from 2007–2009. Boston Cannons
The Cannons Lacrosse Club are a professional men's field lacrosse team in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) . Formerly based in Boston, Massachusetts, they played in Major League Lacrosse (MLL) as the Boston Cannons from their inaugural 2001 season to 2020. The team's home field was Veterans Memorial Stadium in nearby Quincy. In the MLL, the team won two Steinfeld Cup championship games in 2011 and 2020, the latter being the MLL's final championship.
