Bucheon SK
Jeju United Football Club (Hangul: 제주 유나이티드) is a South Korean professional football club based in Jeju Province that competes in the K League 1, the top division in South Korea. In the past, the club has been known as the ''Yukong Elephants'' and ''Bucheon SK''. History An original member of the K League founded on 17 December 1982, the team was then called the Yukong Elephants. Yukong was owned and financially supported by the Sunkyoung Group's subsidiary, Yukong (currently SK Group's "SK Energy"), along with Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi as its franchise. The '' Kokkiri'' (elephant) was its mascot. The club won the league championship on only one occasion (in 1989). Goran Petreski ( mk, Горан Петрески) (born 23 May 1972 in SFR Yugoslavia) is a football coach from North Macedonia. Playing career Club He played for Vardar Skopje, with whom he won his newly independent country's first three league titles. Pohang Steelers (2001–2004) Petreski joined Korean K-League side Pohang Steelers at the beginning of the 2001 season. Park Jung-hwan (born 14 January 1977) is a former South Korean footballer. Club career Korean club career Park Jung-hwan debuted in FC Seoul then known as Anyang LG Cheetahs and spent his mandatory two years military service spell with Gwangju Sangmu, from 2004 to 2005. After a spell abroad in China with Yiteng Football Club, he returned to the National League in the summer of 2007 to sign for Suwon City. Saša Drakulić (Serbian Cyrillic: Саша Дракулић; born 28 August 1972) is a retired Serbian footballer. The striker went to South Korea in 1995 and during his nine seasons in the K League made a name for himself as one of the most successful foreign players ever in the league. Seo Jung-won (born 17 December 1970) is a South Korean football manager and former player, currently in charge of Chengdu Rongcheng. Playing career A winger who had explosive pace, Seo was nicknamed the "Nalssaendori", which means an agile man in Korean. He played for South Korean under-23 team in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and scored against Sweden. He was reportedly offered a contract from FC Barcelona and other European club giants after his performances in the Olympics, but he stayed South Korea to serve a two-year mandatory military service. He also played for South Korea in the 1994 FIFA World Cup, and scored the equaliser in a 2–2 draw with Spain.
