The Frauen DFB Pokal, Frauen DFB-Pokal 2000–01 was the 21st season of the cup competition, Germany's second-most important title in women's football. The first round of the competition was held on 19–20 August 2000. In the final which was held in Berlin on 26 May 2001 1. FFC Frankfurt, FFC Frankfurt defeated FFC Flaesheim-Hillen, Flaesheim-Hillen 2–1, thus claiming their third title, all consecutive. FFC Flaesheim-Hillen
FFC Flaesheim-Hillen was a short-lived women's football club from the Flaesheim district of Haltern, Haltern am See in the Ruhr, Ruhr area. The club was founded in 1999 as a merger of the women's football departments of SG Rot-Weiß Hillen and Concordia Flaesheim. As Rot-Weiß had achieved promotion for the Fußball-Bundesliga (women), Bundesliga the team was qualified for Germany's premier football league in their first season. Flaesheim finished eighth in Fußball-Bundesliga (women) 1999–2000, 1999–2000 and improved their performance to a fifth place in Fußball-Bundesliga (women) 2000–01, 2000–01. They reached the final of the Frauen DFB Pokal, cup as well, but nevertheless had to declare bankruptcy at the end of the season. After the dissolution of the club a new women's department was founded at Concordia Flaesheim.
