2000–01 Czech 1. Liga Season
The 2000–01 Czech 1.liga season was the eighth season of the Czech 1.liga, the second level of ice hockey in the Czech Republic. 14 teams participated in the league, and KHL Chomutov won the championship. HC Slovan Ústečtí Lvi
HC Slovan Ústečti Lvi is an ice hockey team in the Czech 2nd League ('' 2. národní hokejová liga'') (the second division). Their home arena is Zlatopramen Arena in Ústí nad Labem. The Team was known as HC Slovan Ústí nad labem History Predecessors The birth of ice hockey in Ústí nad Labem dates back to the end of the Second World War. In 1945 a group of enthusiasts got together with Jaroslav Kropáč as a leading figure and in 1946 they founded the hockey club, Sokol Ústí nad Labem. After couple of months they took their cue from their namesake in Prague and founded LTC (1946–1948). They entered the North-west group of winter sports and started to regularly enter the regional competitions. In the following years (1949–1959) the club changed its name to ZSJ Armaturka. BK Mladá Boleslav
BK Mladá Boleslav ( cs, Bruslařský klub Mladá Boleslav) is a Czech ice hockey team, which plays in the Czech Extraliga, the country's highest level. They were promoted into the league on 18 April 2014 after a two-year absence. They play their home games at Ško-Energo Aréna. History 2000-12: Extraliga In 2000 and 2001, Mladá Boleslav won the 2nd national hockey league, and in 2008 they won the 1st national hockey league. In that year, they joined the Extraliga, after winning a promotion-relegation play-off against HC Slovan Ústečtí Lvi. In each of its first three seasons in the Czech Extraliga, Mladá Boleslav had to win a best-of-seven promotion-relegation play-off to stay in the top league, beating Slovan Ústečtí Lvi 4-3 in the last of them. During the 2010–2011 season, the team was docked 22 points for using players not correctly registered to the club, an affair which also involved HC Plzeň and HC Kladno. Bílí Tygři Liberec (English: ''Liberec White Tigers'') are a professional ice hockey club based in Liberec, Czech Republic. The team competes in the Czech Extraliga, the highest level of play in professional Czech ice hockey. History The first hockey club in Liberec was founded in 1934 under the name ''SK Rapid Horní Růžodol''. After the WWII, there have been two sections: ''Jiskra Kolora'' and ''Tatran''. In 1956, a new ice rink was built in Liberec and the clubs agreed to merge, under the name ''TJ Lokomotiva Liberec''. Since 1961, the club have been named: ''Stadion Liberec''.
