2000–01 Chicago Bulls Season
The 2000–01 NBA season was the Bulls' 35th season in the National Basketball Association. In the 2000 NBA draft, the Bulls selected Marcus Fizer from Iowa State with the fourth overall pick, and selected Chris Mihm from the University of Texas at Austin with the seventh pick, but soon traded Mihm to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for top draft pick Jamal Crawford. During the off-season, the team signed free agents Ron Mercer, and Brad Miller. The Bulls continued to struggle losing 24 of their first 27 games, then later holding a 6–42 record at the All-Star break, as they finished with 15 wins and 67 losses, the worst record in the Central Division and the worst league record. Second-year star Elton Brand led the team with 20.1 points, 10.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game, while Mercer finished second on the team in scoring with 19.7 points per game, and Fizer was selected to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. Tim Floyd
Tim Floyd (born February 25, 1954) is a former American college basketball coach, most recently the head coach at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). He was formerly the head coach of several teams in the NCAA and the NBA. Floyd is also known as the coach of the Chicago Bulls for four seasons. He announced his retirement from coaching after the UTEP game on November 27, 2017. Personal life Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Floyd is a 1977 graduate of Louisiana Tech University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education. Ronald Eugene Mercer (born May 18, 1976) is an American former professional basketball player. After his career at the University of Kentucky, Mercer played for several teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA); he ended his career with the New Jersey Nets in 2005. Jake Voskuhl
Robert Jacob Voskuhl (born November 1, 1977) is retired American professional basketball player. After attending Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, Voskuhl went to the University of Connecticut from 1996 to 2000, where he was the starting center on the school's 1999 NCAA National Championship team. The squad also featured former NBA star Richard "Rip" Hamilton. He became a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity while an undergraduate. The Hrvatski Telekom Premijer liga ( en, Hrvatski Telekom Premier League, ), also known as HT Premijer liga or simply Premijer liga, is the first tier level men's professional basketball league in Croatia. Dalibor Bagarić
Dalibor Bagarić (born July 2, 1980) is a Croatian former professional basketball player. He had a stint with the NBA's Chicago Bulls from 2000 to 2003. Professional career A 7'1" (2.17 m) center born in Munich, West Germany, Bagarić had averaged 18.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game for the Croatian team Benston Zagreb before the Bulls selected him with the 24th pick in the 2000 NBA draft. Bagarić never averaged more than 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game during his time with the Bulls. He returned to Europe after the Bulls bought out his contract in 2003, and began playing for the Greek club Olympiacos. The 2001–02 NBA season was the Clippers' 32nd season in the National Basketball Association and their 18th season in Los Angeles.
