2000–01 Albanian Cup
2000–01 Albanian Cup () was the forty-ninth season of Albania's annual cup competition. It began on 26 August 2000 with the First Round and ended on 26 May 2001 with the Final match. The winners of the competition qualified for the 2001-02 first round of the UEFA Europa League. Teuta were the defending champions, having won their second Albanian Cup last season. The cup was won by Tirana. The rounds were played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregated score was tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advanced. Klubi i Futbollit Tirana (KF Tirana) is an Albanian football club based in the country's capital city, Tirana. The men's football club is part of the multi-disciplinary sports club SK Tirana, and is the most successful in Albania, having won 54 recognized major domestic trophies. KF Butrinti is an Albanian football club based in the southern city of Sarandë. The club's home ground is the Andon Lapa Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. The club falls under the KS Butrinti sports club which also features one of the most successful swimming teams in the country, with football being the second priority by the club. Klubi i Futbollit Besa is a professional Albanian football club based in Kavajë. It is currently competing in Kategoria e Parë, the 2nd tier of Albanian football. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaker, tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals "Road (sports), away from home" wins. KF Apolonia is an Albanian football club based in Fier. The club was founded on 17 June 1925 and took its name from the nearby ruins of the ancient city of Apollonia. KS Korabi is an Albanian football club based in Peshkopi, named after the nearby Mount Korab, which is the tallest mountain in Albania and North Macedonia. FK Partizani Tirana
Futboll Klub Partizani, or FK Partizani for short, is an Albanian professional football club based in Tirana, that competes in the Kategoria Superiore. Founded in 1946, the club was historically affiliated to the Albanian army. Partizani's current temporary home ground is Arena Kombëtare and the newly built stadium at Partizani Complex. The club first competed in an official competition in 1947 where they won the Albania National Championship, thus being crowned the champions of Albania in their debut season as well as the following two seasons.
