Mike Leavitt
Michael Okerlund Leavitt (born February 11, 1951) is an American politician who served as the List of Governors of Utah, 14th Governor of Utah from 1993 to 2003 in the Republican Party (United States), Republican Party, as Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from 2003 to 2005 and as United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, Secretary of Health and Human Services from 2005 to 2009. Leavitt started his career in 1972 and worked in the insurance and risk management industry until 1992. From 1984 until 1992, he was the president (corporate title), president and chief executive officer (CEO) of The Leavitt Group. Olene Walker
Olene Walker (née Smith; November 15, 1930 – November 28, 2015) was an American politician who served as the 15th governor of Utah from 2003 to 2005, succeeding the governorship after Mike Leavitt's resignation. A member of the Republican Party, Walker was Utah's first female governor and the first female Lieutenant Governor of Utah. Bill Orton
William Orton (September 22, 1948 – April 18, 2009) was an American Democratic politician who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Utah from 1991 to 1997. Biography Early life and education Born in North Ogden, Utah, Orton was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attended Brigham Young University, from which he earned his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor. Orton was hired in 1966, at age 16, by the Internal Revenue Service, and continued his employment there throughout high school, college and law school. While in law school, Orton also served as president of his law school fraternity and was a founder and charter member of the American Inns of Court, a law school organization with chapters throughout the country. Karen Hale (born June 24, 1958) is an American politician from Salt Lake City, Utah. She represented Utah's 7th senate district in the Utah State Senate from 1998 to 2006, and was the Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor in 2000 and 2004.
