PGA Tour
The PGA Tour (stylized in all capital letters as PGA TOUR by its officials) is the organizer of professional golf tours in the United States and North America. It organizes most of the events on the flagship annual series of tournaments also known as the PGA Tour, as well as PGA Tour Champions (age 50 and older) and the Korn Ferry Tour (for professional players who have not yet qualified to play on the PGA Tour), as well as PGA Tour Canada, PGA Tour Latinoamérica, and PGA Tour China. Brad Bryant
Bradley Dub Bryant (born December 11, 1954) is an American professional golfer. Bryant was born in Amarillo, Texas, the son of a Southern Baptist pastor. He moved with his family to Alamogordo, New Mexico during his youth. Bryant attended the University of New Mexico for three years, but turned professional and qualified for the PGA Tour in 1976, a year before his scheduled graduation. Bryant's only win on the PGA Tour came at the age of forty at the 1995 Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic, which took 20 years and 475 starts to achieve, one of the longest waits for a PGA Tour win. After reaching the age of 50, Bryant began play on the Champions Tour, where he won for the first time at the 2006 Toshiba Classic and followed up later the same year by winning the Regions Charity Classic. Sean Murphy (golfer)
Sean Patrick Murphy (born August 17, 1965) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Amateur career Murphy was born in Des Moines, Iowa. His father got him started with golf at age 6. He was the New Mexico High School Champion in 1982 and 1984, and American Junior Golf Association Southwest Champion in 1983. He attended the University of New Mexico and was the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 1988. Professional career Murphy turned professional in 1988. Presidents Cup
The Presidents Cup is a series of men's golf matches between a team representing the United States and an International Team representing the rest of the world minus Europe. Europe competes against the United States in a similar but considerably older event, the Ryder Cup. The Presidents Cup has been held biennially since 1994. Initially it was held in even-numbered years, with the Ryder Cup being held in odd numbered years. However, the cancellation of the 2001 Ryder Cup due to the September 11 attacks pushed both tournaments back a year, and the Presidents Cup was then held in odd-numbered years. It reverted to even-number years following the postponement of the 2020 Ryder Cup due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Asian Tour
The Asian Tour is the principal men's professional golf tour in Asia except for Japan, which has its own Japan Golf Tour, which is also a full member of the International Federation of PGA Tours. Frank Nobilo
Frank Ivan Joseph Nobilo (born on 14 May 1960) is a professional golfer from New Zealand. Nobilo had a successful playing career, winning 14 pro tournaments around the world. He was at his peak during the mid-1990s when he also produced strong finishes in all four major championships. Since his 2003 retirement, Nobilo has worked as a television announcer for golf events. Personal life Nobilo was born in Auckland, of Italian and Croatian descent, and is the great grandson of an Italian pirate. Japan Golf Tour
The Japan Golf Tour ( ja, 日本ゴルフツアー機構) is a prominent golf tour. It was founded in 1973 and as of 2006 it offers the third-highest annual prize fund out of the regular (that is not for seniors) men's professional tours after the PGA Tour and the European Tour. However, since the early 1990s, the growth in prize money has not kept pace with that on the two larger tours. Official events on the Japan Golf Tour count for World Golf Ranking points, and success on the tour can also qualify members to play in the majors. Most of the leading players on the tour are Japanese, but players from many other countries also participate. Fred Wadsworth
} Frederick Willi Wadsworth (born July 17, 1962) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and South Africa's Sunshine Tour. Wadsworth was born in Munich, Germany and grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina. He turned professional in 1984. Wadsworth was a Monday qualifier who won a PGA Tour event, seven months after Kenny Knox did the same to win the Honda Classic. His victory came at the 1986 Southern Open when he shot a final round 67 to finish at 11-under-par 269 to win by two strokes over four other golfers. The victory gave Wadsworth a two-year exemption. Jason William Gore (born May 17, 1974) is an American professional golfer. Amateur career Gore was born in Van Nuys, California. He grew up playing junior golf with Tiger Woods. Gore attended the University of Arizona, then transferred to Pepperdine University. At Pepperdine, he was part of their NCAA Division I Championship team in 1997.
