Ooi Hoe Guan
Ooi Hoe Guan (born 31 December 1973) is a former Malaysian footballer. He also used to be a member of the Malaysia national football team. Hoe Guan began his career with Kedah FA youth team. He transferred to Penang FA and started his senior debut in the Malaysia league, where he committed with Penang for more 7 seasons before returning to Kedah to become rotation squad player. After a couple of seasons with the hometown side, Guan called it quits and retired from football. Merdeka Cup
Merdeka Tournament or Pestabola Merdeka is a friendly football tournament held in Malaysia to commemorate the Independence Day. The competition bears the Malay word for independence. As of 2022, it has been held 40 times, and decreasingly in recent decades. Matches in Merdeka tournament considered International "A" matches (Friendly match) by FIFA. Its final has been mainly held at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. An unusual feature is it has four times seen a draw result, twice with the home nation and teams from South Korea, and twice with the latter and variously Taiwan and Myanmar (then predominantly called Burma). Ryan William Nelsen (born 18 October 1977) is a former New Zealand professional football player and former head coach of Major League Soccer side Toronto FC. Nelsen commonly played as a defender, and his professional career began in 1995. Brad Scott born (15 June 1977, Wanganui, New Zealand) is a former New Zealand soccer player, who played 2 full internationals and represented the U23 NZ side 17 times. Mohd Rusdi Bin Mohd Suparman (born 27 January 1973) is a retired Malaysian footballer. He was known as ''Superman'' by his teammates and his fans. He is also a former member of the Malaysian pre-Olympic team and also the Malaysian national team.
