Donka Mincheva
Donka Mincheva (Донка Минчева, born in Karlovo) is a Bulgarian former weightlifter, competing in the 48 kg category and representing Bulgaria at international competitions. She participated at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the 48 kg event. She competed at world championships, most recently at the 2007 World Weightlifting Championships. Mincheva was one of eleven Bulgarian weightlifters to test positive for a banned steroid two months prior to the 2008 Summer Olympics. Bulgaria withdrew its entire weightlifting team from the Olympic competition and Mincheva was banned from competing for four years. Viktors Ščerbatihs
Viktors Ščerbatihs (born 6 October 1974 in Dobele) is a former Latvian weightlifter and politician and a three-time Olympian for his native country. He is 181 cm tall. In the 2004 Summer Olympics, he won the silver medal in the over 105 kg weight category, with the total result of 455 kg (205 kg in snatch and 250 kg in clean and jerk). He has also won three bronze medals in the World Championships (in 1997, 1998 and 2003), gold in 2007 and several medals in the European Championships (bronze in 1997, 1999 and 2000, gold in 2001, silver in 2004, and four consecutive gold medals in 2005–2008). Ronny Weller
Ronny Weller (born 22 July 1969 in Oelsnitz, Saxony) is a German weightlifter who competed for East Germany and later for Germany. During the 1990s, he was three times world champion, and broke world records 11 times. He participated in the Olympic Games five times, winning four medals. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens he had to retire from the contest due to an injury he suffered during the snatch competition. He is, jointly with fellow (East) German Ingo Steinhöfel, the second weightlifter to compete at five Olympics. The first was Hungarian Imre Földi from 1960-76. Ashot Danielyan
Ashot Danielyan ( hy, Աշոտ Դանիելյան , born April 11, 1974, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR) is a retired Armenian weightlifter. Danielyan is a two-time European champion, having won consecutive gold medals at the 1999 and 2000 European Weightlifting Championships. He also came in 13th place at the 1996 Summer Olympics. He initially won a bronze medal in the men's super heavyweight (+105 kg) weight class at the 2000 Summer Olympics, but was stripped of the medal and suspended following a positive drug test. Danielyan would have been only the second Olympic medalist weightlifter from the independent Republic of Armenia, after Arsen Melikyan, who won an Olympic medal just days earlier.
