2025 Women's Ice Hockey World Championships
The 2025 Women's World Ice Hockey Championships will be the 27th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams participate at several levels of competition based on their 2024 results. The competition will also serve as qualifications for division placements in the 2026 edition. 2024 Women's Ice Hockey World Championships
The 2024 Women's World Ice Hockey Championships is the 26th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams participate at several levels of competition based on their 2023 results. The competition will also serve as qualifications for division placements in the 2025 edition. As in 2023, teams from Russia and Belarus have not been allowed to enter, as they remain suspended by the IIHF due to the countries' invasion of Ukraine. International Ice Hockey Federation
The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF; french: Fédération internationale de hockey sur glace; german: Internationale Eishockey-Föderation) is a worldwide governing body for ice hockey. It is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and has 83 member countries. The IIHF maintains the IIHF World Ranking based on international ice hockey tournaments.
