2025 AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup
The 2025 AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup was the first of the newly rebranded AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup, and sixth overall edition of the formerly known AVC Women's Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Volleyball Federation of Vietnam (VFV). It was held from 7 to 14 June 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam. As the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League, FIVB Volleyball Nations League restructured its format and abolished the FIVB Women's Volleyball Challenger Cup, Challenger Cup as a direct qualifier to the tournament, this tournament would served to countries currently not participating in the Nations League to garner world ranking points for a chance to enter the said competition. 2022 AVC Women's Challenge Cup
The 2022 AVC Women's Challenge Cup, in coincidence with the 21st Princess Cup Volleyball Championship, was the third edition of the AVC Women's Challenge Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), in that year with the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The tournament was held in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, from 24 to 29 June 2022. 2023 AVC Women's Challenge Cup
The 2023 AVC Women's Challenge Cup, also known as the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup for Women, was the fourth edition of the AVC Women's Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and in that year with the Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI). The tournament was held at Tridharma Sports Hall in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia, between 18 and 25 June 2023. The winner of the tournament, Vietnam, qualified for the 2023 FIVB Women's Volleyball Challenger Cup. Vietnam won their first title by defeating host Indonesia in a tie-break final. FIVB Senior World Rankings
The FIVB Senior World Rankings is a ranking system for men's and women's national teams in volleyball. The teams of the member nations of Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), volleyball's world governing body, are ranked based on their game results with the most successful teams being ranked highest. A points system is used, with points being awarded based on the results of all FIVB-recognised full international matches. The rankings are used in international competitions to define the seeded teams and arrange them in pools. 2024 AVC Women's Challenge Cup
The 2024 AVC Women's Challenge Cup was the fifth edition of the AVC Women's Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and this year with the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF). It was held from 22 to 29 May 2024 in Manila, Philippines. The winners of the tournament, Vietnam, qualified for the 2024 FIVB Women's Volleyball Challenger Cup. Vietnam won their second consecutive title after defeating Kazakhstan in the final. The host Philippines defeated Australia in the 3rd place match and took the bronze medal.
