2024–25 West Georgia Wolves Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 West Georgia Wolves men's basketball team represented the University of West Georgia during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wolves, led by seventh-year head coach Dave Moore, played their home games at The Coliseum in Carrollton, Georgia as first-year members of the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN). This season marked West Georgia's first year of a four-year transition period from Division II to Division I. As a result, the Wolves are currently not eligible to participate in the NCAA tournament until the 2028–29 season. A pending change to transition rules, scheduled to be voted on by the Division I Council in January 2025, would reduce the transition period to three years. Dave Moore (basketball)
Dave Moore (born February 8, 1975) is an American college basketball coach. He is currently the head coach of the West Georgia Wolves men's basketball team. Career Moore attended Oak Hills High School and played college basketball at Bethel University before beginning his coaching career. Following stints coaching at Bethel, Mount St. Joseph, Lakota East High School, and Robert Morris, Moore joined the St. Bonaventure coaching staff in 2007 as an assistant coach. Florida Southern Moccasins
The Florida Southern Moccasins (also shortened to Florida Southern Mocs) are the athletic teams that represent Florida Southern College, located in Lakeland, Florida, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Moccasins compete as members of the Sunshine State Conference in 17 varsity sports. Florida Southern has been a member of the conference since its founding in 1975. Florida Southern also competes as independents in six other sports. The Lynn Fighting Knights are the athletic teams that represent Lynn University, located in Boca Raton, Florida, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Fighting Knights compete as members of the Sunshine State Conference for all 14 varsity sports. Lynn has been a member of the SSC since 1997.
