2024–25 Florida State Seminoles Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Florida State Seminoles men's basketball team represented Florida State University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Seminoles were led by head coach Leonard Hamilton, in his twenty-third, and final, year, and played their home games at the Donald L. Tucker Center on the university's Tallahassee, Florida campus as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The season started well for the Seminoles as they won three straight games. Their first loss came in the fourth game of the season, when they lost to rivals Florida 87–74. The team rebounded by defeating Hofstra before traveling to Connecticut to compete in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off. 2025 National Invitation Tournament
The 2025 National Invitation Tournament (NIT) was a single-elimination tournament of thirty-two NCAA Division I men's college basketball teams not selected to participate in the 2025 NCAA tournament. The tournament commenced on March 18th and concluded on April 3rd. The first three rounds were played on campus sites, with the semifinal and final rounds played at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Six programs made their debut in the NIT: Cal State Northridge, Jacksonville State, North Alabama, Northern Colorado, Samford, and UC Riverside. The 2025 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was a single-elimination tournament to determine the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's college basketball national champion for the 2024–25 season. The 2025 ACC men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference held at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, from March 11–15, 2025. The 2024–25 SMU Mustangs men's basketball team represented Southern Methodist University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.
