West Virginia MetroNews is a radio network heard on many radio stations throughout the State of West Virginia. The network is owned by the West Virginia Radio Corporation. West Virginia MetroNews offers a mix of news and talk. The ''Mountain Statesman'' is a thrice-weekly newspaper serving the Grafton, West Virginia area. Its 2016 circulation was 1,710. History The ''Statesman'' began its life as the ''Grafton Sentinel'', a publication that was only weeks old when editor and publisher James W. Holt took it over in 1870. Holt, a 21 year old who had previously worked at the Preston County Journal, went through a series of partners but, aside from a short period of divestment from the paper in 1875, remained editor and publisher of the paper until 1893, and returned to the management of the paper after a short tenure as the county's postmaster. Randolph County is a county located in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 27,932. Its county seat is Elkins. The West Virginia Circuit Courts are the West Virginia state trial courts of general jurisdiction. They are the only state trial courts in West Virginia that are courts of record. West Virginia's 55 counties are divided into 31 circuits, each comprising anywhere from one to four counties. Different circuits have different numbers of judges; 11 circuits have only a single judge.
