2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship Qualification
The 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifying competition is the men's under-17 football competition that will determine the 15 teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Cyprus in the 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship final tournament. Players born on or after 1 January 2007 were eligible to participate. Russia were excluded from the tournament due to the ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Apart from Cyprus as the host, the remaining 52 teams entered the qualifying competition, where the format consisted of two rounds: Qualifying round, which took place in September, October and November 2023 and the Elite round which will take place from 20 to 26 March 2024. 2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship
The 2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-17 Euro 2019) was the 18th edition of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship (37th edition if the Under-16 era is also included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-17 national teams of Europe. The Republic of Ireland, which was selected by UEFA on 9 December 2016, hosted the tournament. A total of 16 teams played in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2002 eligible to participate. Starting from this season, up to five substitutions were permitted per team in each match. Moreover, each match has a regular duration of 90 minutes, instead of 80 minutes in previous seasons. 2021 UEFA European Under-17 Championship
The 2021 UEFA European Under-17 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-17 Euro 2021) was originally to be held as the 19th edition of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship (38th edition if the Under-16 era is also included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-17 national teams of Europe. The tournament should have been held in Cyprus between 6 and 22 May 2021. A total of 16 teams were scheduled to play in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2004 eligible to participate. The Netherlands were the two-time defending champions, having won the last two tournaments held in 2018 and 2019, with the 2020 edition cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe.
